During a White House briefing on Wednesday, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked if President Trump believes former President Obama should go to prison after accusing him of treason.

00:08The president has ensured that we have a good, continuing, working relationship with China that benefits the United States.
00:16And so the Secretary of Treasury will be obviously discussing those key matters, but I'll let him set the expectations.

00:30Look, the president believes that this matter needs to be thoroughly investigated, and anyone convicted of crime should be held accountable in this country.
