00:03The accused Harsh Vardhan Jain had rented a bungalow and put up a signboard claiming
00:06it was the embassy of West Arctica, a country not owned by anyone.
00:10He also claimed to be the ambassador of several such micronations, Seborga, Polvia and Londonia.
00:15A micronation is an entity that claims to be an independent nation or state but lacks
00:19recognition by international organizations.
00:21He also owned luxury cars with diplomatic number plates that were often seen parked outside
00:25his bungalow.
00:26He used doctored photos with top leaders to gain credibility.
00:29According to the UPSTF, Jain's racket primarily involved duping individuals and companies
00:33by promising to facilitate overseas business deals and employment opportunities.
00:37He also allegedly ran a Hwala network through shell companies, 4 cars, 12 diplomatic passports
00:42to 12 micronations, 2 fake ban cards, 34 stamps of several companies, 18 diplomatic number plates
00:48and Rs 44.7 lakh were recovered from the bungalow.
00:51UPSTF has arrested Harsh Vardhan Jain.
00:54Police said more arrests could follow as they prove his network and possible collaborators.
