Personnel from the Manila Department of Public Services (DPS) conduct declogging operations along Taft Avenue on Wednesday, July 22, in an effort to clear drainage systems and help alleviate flooding caused by heavy rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon.

The ongoing efforts come after Manila Mayor Isko Moreno declared a State of Calamity in the entire city due to the widespread flooding and its impact on affected communities. (MB video by Mark Balmores)
