00:00The noise of something running around outside the room.
00:03He just calmly backed away and walked up the road.
00:05There's people walking around in the woods.
00:08Whoa!
00:15Don't leave me out in the forest where I might be shed-eaten by a bear.
00:23After several camping trials in a converted car,
00:26YouTuber WanderingWare made a major upgrade by acquiring a fully-equipped VW-T6 camper van.
00:34I'm about 40 minutes away from picking up the Volkswagen T6,
00:38and I've got to tell you, I'm super, super excited.
00:42The weather today is blue skies and blazing, and it's predicted this for the whole week.
00:48And to have this weather and the use of a fully-fledged camper for the week as well
00:54is just going to be amazing.
00:56I've got an amazing plan where I want to take it and explore with it,
01:00but for now, I think what I'm going to do is drive over, see the guy, pick up the van,
01:05and then I'll meet you guys on the flip side, on the road, in a VW-T6.
01:10Now, here's the thing with this van, all silliness aside,
01:14it is kitted out fully as a Volkswagen camper.
01:17As you can see, it's got the beautiful quintessential VW setup with really nice shiny lamerate coating
01:26on all this woodwork.
01:28It looks amazing.
01:30It's got a full pop-top roof, which I haven't seen yet,
01:33and obviously it's got a really nice rocker bed.
01:37I do believe this is the actual T6 material.
01:40I guess, like, what comes standard with a T6,
01:43some of you guys are going to know a little bit better than me.
01:46In the front is also very nice in terms of the seating and the material that's used here.
01:51I do love it.
01:53And he's had the VW stitched in.
01:54Really nice.
01:56And because this is sort of a custom-built VW setup in here,
02:00it's got some nice little extra features,
02:02which, you know, sort of plug sockets down the way,
02:05couple over the back,
02:06and things have been tweaked around
02:08and done in a little bit of a different way to, I guess,
02:11utilise the space a little bit better
02:13or differently than what you'd normally do,
02:16i.e. it's got a massive box in the back here for storage.
02:20And then even down here, there's, like,
02:22you haven't got the normal side door,
02:25but you've got an extra one down here
02:27and access to this area from the side instead.
02:30Now, obviously, I've only had, like, a quick five-minute look around this van
02:33as I'm going through it with Robert,
02:36and hopefully over the next four or five days I'm going to be using it,
02:39we're going to get to know this van really well.
02:41He chose a secluded woodland spot called Bank Top
02:44near Stone, England,
02:46which had received rave reviews on park-o-night,
02:49with many campers highlighting its beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
02:52His first impression was encouraging.
02:57Wow.
02:59Gotta say, eh?
03:00It's not my normal kettle of fish
03:05in the woods,
03:07but it feels really nice.
03:09Loads of birds tweeting,
03:11all bluebells around.
03:14Could be a nice spot for the night.
03:15It is really busy, though.
03:17I'm just hoping it's dog walkers and normal walkers.
03:20Though the location was more remote than he was accustomed to
03:23and a bit outside his comfort zone,
03:26the area's calmness was undeniable.
03:28However, warning signs appeared almost right away.
03:31I'm not entirely sure about this place.
03:34I'm going to show you something now,
03:35and I'm warning you.
03:37Some of you won't want to see it.
03:38It's a little bit adult.
03:39We just found something.
03:40As the blues brothers would say,
03:43one used prophylactic.
03:44That's disgusting.
03:51I mean, leave your trash,
03:52but, mate,
03:54there's trash and there's trash.
03:56I really hope this is not the local dogging spot.
03:59I really do.
04:01We've got another van up the way.
04:03These park sideways,
04:04I'll pretty much assume they're there for the night.
04:06Fingers crossed.
04:08There's nothing in the reviews about it.
04:10It's supposed to be a fantastic little spot for the night.
04:13No bother.
04:14About five or six reviews,
04:15all five stars.
04:17None of them mention the used prophylactic on the side.
04:21Cut it.
04:25Get the cat on.
04:26Think about it somehow.
04:27During a brief walk near his van,
04:29he came across a used condom lying on the ground,
04:32an indication that some after-hours activity was taking place in the woods.
04:36Nearby, another van was parked sideways,
04:39adding to his suspicions.
04:41Although everything appeared outwardly normal,
04:43these signs hinted that the forest attracted a different kind of crowd once darkness set in.
04:48As evening approached,
04:50vehicles started arriving sporadically.
04:52Well, dinner's done,
04:53and the belly's full.
04:55I've got to tell you,
04:56I'm actually starting to wonder
04:58whether I'd read the right reviews at the right spot for this place.
05:02Seems a bit lively.
05:03I've just had a car pull up next to me,
05:05sped in,
05:06and then reversed up with speed,
05:08and then sped off with speed,
05:09and then sped out of the car park,
05:11and there's a constant flow of traffic.
05:14You're not going to see anything,
05:16but...
05:16And you might not hear it at the minute,
05:18but there's a few cars...
05:20I mean, I don't know.
05:21There's a few voices all the way.
05:23Male voices.
05:24There are only chatting, but...
05:25It's like quarter to ten at night.
05:27There's not a lot to do around here.
05:29And it's a weekday.
05:31I don't really get why this car park's so busy at such a late time of night.
05:36At least we've got that van next to us.
05:38Cars pulled in,
05:40backed out abruptly,
05:41and then sped away.
05:42No one stayed long,
05:44and only a few headlights lingered long enough to get a clear look.
05:47At one point,
05:48a vehicle rushed into the lot,
05:50paused briefly,
05:51and then vanished again.
05:53It quickly became obvious that this spot wasn't just a scenic overlook anymore.
05:57It seemed to have turned into a local gathering place for late night meetups.
06:00By 10.30 p.m.,
06:02the activity was still going strong.
06:05Wandering Ware stayed inside his van,
06:07trying to stay calm,
06:08but his unease grew as he heard voices laughing and talking in the distance.
06:12What made things even more unsettling
06:14was the absence of any mention of this kind of behavior in the app's reviews.
06:18Almost as if no one dared to reveal what really happened there after dark.
06:22The situation only intensified around 3 a.m.
06:31There's people walking around in the woods.
06:34I can hear women's voices.
06:37This is a bit odd, yeah?
06:39I've just got out of the van for a wee.
06:43Made a bit of noise, showed a load of light.
06:46Now I'm hearing dogs barking everywhere.
06:50I can hear women's voices.
06:51I can hear a torch or see a torch in the woods.
06:55That's sort of a bit weird.
06:57After briefly stepping out to use the bathroom,
06:59he was startled by the sudden sound of barking.
07:02First, a deep, aggressive bark from one direction,
07:05followed by a higher-pitched yap from another.
07:07Then came the voices.
07:09Female voices echoed through the trees,
07:12yelling at the dogs and at each other.
07:14Clearly agitated, he saw flashlights flickering between the trees.
07:18These women didn't appear to be casually walking their pets.
07:20Their timing, behavior, and tone felt completely out of place for the setting.
07:25Unnerved and unsure of their intentions,
07:27he chose to stay inside his van,
07:29keeping the lights off and remaining silent.
07:32Whatever was unfolding outside wasn't something he wanted to become involved in.
07:36Whether it was something illicit or simply unpredictable,
07:38he knew drawing attention to himself could make things worse.
07:42Eventually, the commotion faded into the night,
07:44but a sense of safety never returned.
07:47The YouTuber didn't sleep soundly.
07:49No one ever approached his van directly,
07:51but the unease lingered.
07:53It wasn't terrifying in a dramatic horror movie sense,
07:56but it was deeply disturbing in a way that sticks with you.
07:59As always, I'll leave it up to you to decide what to make of this strange encounter.
08:04Uploaded in April 2025,
08:07this next story features Australian content creator Tyler Thompson,
08:11who set out for a weekend of four-wheel driving and camping in Bington Tops National Park.
08:17Equipped with upgraded off-road gear and accompanied by a group of friends,
08:21the trip was intended as an opportunity to test their equipment
08:24and explore remote bush trails.
08:27However, what unfolded soon turned into a perilous survival ordeal,
08:31not due to wildlife or supernatural events, but because of the weather.
08:35Even before reaching the trailhead, the trip faced setbacks.
08:39One vehicle was mistakenly filled with the wrong fuel,
08:42causing a delay in requiring a team member to be towed home.
08:45This was one of those adventures where we were met with problem after problem.
08:53Nothing really went to plan,
08:55and we ended up having to get out of the mountains as quick as possible with rising floodwaters.
09:04Our original plan was a weekend in Barrington Tops of four-wheel driving,
09:08camping, filming and testing out the new Jack U.
09:10On the way there, Dad had accidentally filled his 3-litre diesel patrol with petrol,
09:15meaning we spent our first day sorting out that issue before sending him home on a tow truck.
09:21So by the time we got up into Barrington Tops,
09:23it was late and absolutely pouring with rain.
09:26We knew there was meant to be some rain around this weekend,
09:29but there was way more coming than we expected.
09:35By the time they finally arrived at the park,
09:37heavy rain had already started,
09:39and the dense trails were rapidly turning unstable.
09:42The team tried to adapt,
09:43setting up awnings and inflatables to protect their swags,
09:47but the downpour showed no signs of easing.
09:50By the second day,
09:51water levels were climbing quickly.
09:53Trails that had been dry just hours before
09:55had transformed into rushing streams,
09:58making even simple driving hazardous.
10:01Filming became nearly impossible,
10:03and they decided to break camp early and leave
10:05while they still had the chance.
10:07Well, it's a Saturday morning.
10:12We're up in Barrington Tops National Park
10:13for a weekend of camping,
10:15four-wheel driving,
10:15exploring,
10:16and it's absolutely pouring down rain,
10:19and we're standing here soaking wet.
10:21How are you guys liking the trip so far?
10:23Yeah.
10:24I don't think it's the best trip yet.
10:25Nice and cold.
10:27Yeah.
10:27Rejuvenating.
10:28We sort of knew it was going to be wet this weekend,
10:31but we figured we got the awning,
10:32we brought this like opus inflatable thing,
10:34Lakin's in there in its way,
10:35we got the camper trailer,
10:37but we sort of didn't realize it would be this wet.
10:40When we're here and it's just pouring down rain
10:42all night and all morning,
10:43we're kind of like,
10:45now what?
10:46It's just flogging down.
10:47Now what is exactly what I think.
10:49Now we're already here,
10:50so we've got to do something.
10:51Yeah.
10:51I think we're just going to leave the camper trailer
10:54and the inflatable opus thing there.
10:57We'll pack up this awning,
10:58get in the cars,
10:59and I don't know,
11:01go for a bit of a drive
11:02and try and make something out of this weekend.
11:08Unfortunately,
11:09escaping proved much harder
11:11than they had anticipated.
11:12The group quickly realized
11:13that the only main road out of the mountains
11:15was completely submerged.
11:17What had once been a shallow creek crossing
11:19had transformed into a swift,
11:21deep stream with water levels
11:23exceeding 800 millimeters,
11:25nearly waist high
11:26and well beyond safe limits for most vehicles.
11:29After consulting a local farmer,
11:30they learned about an alternative route
11:32via Mudhut Road.
11:34Although this offered another crossing option,
11:37there was no guarantee
11:38it would be passable either.
11:41So it's just absolutely soaking up
11:43the Barrington Tops
11:44and we had to get out of there
11:45and this is one of the reasons
11:46we thought we're going to get stuck
11:47up in the mountains here
11:48because it's just getting that wet
11:49and we've come down
11:50and the road is flooded
11:53and that's like
11:54not even thinkable about crossing.
11:56That's like deep out there.
11:58Like there's a marker here close
11:59and that's 800 mil,
12:010.8 meters.
12:03It's going to be even deeper out in the middle
12:04and it's just flowing out there.
12:06So we're going to get out of the maps.
12:08There's pretty much like trees going down that.
12:11We're going to get out of the maps
12:12and try and slice a plan
12:13because, I don't know,
12:15everything is so wet up here.
12:17Like all our gear is so wet.
12:19Everything is soaked
12:19and we kind of want to get home at this point.
12:23What a weekend.
12:24We're on our way to Gloucester.
12:33The whole bridge is just like
12:35half a meter, a meter of water
12:37flowing rapids.
12:39The adventure continues.
12:41So yeah, we just spoke to a local farmer
12:42and he's given us another road to try out,
12:45Mudhut Road.
12:47But he said there is a causeway on it
12:49which we may or may not get across
12:50but he said you may as well head up there
12:52and have a look at it anyway
12:53which we're going to do.
12:55Short of that,
12:56we have to head right back over the tops
12:57and over at the other side, Scone.
12:59The group inspected the first alternative exit
13:02but discovered it was also underwater.
13:04Faced with a decision
13:05to either take the risk or wait,
13:07they chose to monitor the situation.
13:10Hours went by
13:10as they kept an eye on the water levels.
13:13Luckily by early evening,
13:14the rain ceased
13:15and the river started to gradually recede.
13:18They revisited one of the flooded crossings
13:20and confirmed the water had dropped
13:22by nearly 200 millimeters.
13:24While it wasn't completely safe yet,
13:26the clear decrease suggested
13:28that waiting a bit longer
13:30might make the crossing feasible.
13:32Four minutes to six.
13:34We're going down
13:34to see if this water,
13:36oarsway,
13:37has come down enough
13:38that we can try and cross it.
13:40Fingers crossed,
13:41otherwise,
13:42I don't know.
13:44We're stuck.
13:46Still there.
13:47Still there.
13:49That has gone down a little bit.
13:50It's not stupid
13:54because it's got a wind curve
13:56so it's safe.
14:00It's like up to you
14:01just above your knee.
14:03It's about your knee.
14:05I was just watching back the video
14:07we took under here
14:07a couple of hours ago
14:08and that thing has dropped
14:10probably nearly 200 mil.
14:12So it definitely is dropping.
14:14So that crossing
14:15should be crossed
14:16for within an hour or two.
14:18It's down around 600 mil now.
14:19But while we're waiting for that
14:23we may as well shoot back
14:24and check the bigger main one
14:25which is only about
14:2615 minutes drive away at that.
14:28So we'll go check that
14:29and see how that looks
14:31and then
14:31work out our options.
14:33The group began assessing the road
14:37by measuring water depths
14:39walking sections
14:40of the submerged paths
14:41and carefully observing
14:43how the water flowed
14:44beneath the vehicles.
14:45Once the water reached
14:47a manageable level
14:47they decided it was safe
14:49to proceed.
14:50They sent one of the heavier
14:51lifted vehicles across first
14:53equipped with a recovery rope
14:55to guarantee immediate assistance
14:57if needed.
14:57The crossing was successful
14:59but their journey
15:00was far from over.
15:01After passing the flooded area
15:03they faced several
15:04additional challenges
15:05including damaged causeways
15:07fallen trees
15:08and landslides.
15:10In total
15:10they navigated
15:11six more crossings
15:13some requiring them
15:14to exit their vehicles
15:15in the middle of the night
15:16to manually clear debris
15:18just to keep moving forward.
15:20I do want to reinforce
15:21to be extremely careful
15:22doing this
15:23as the road may have
15:24collapsed under the water
15:25logs can come down
15:26vehicles can get washed away
15:28and there is just
15:29a lot of factors
15:30to consider.
15:31We hung around
15:32for a further few hours
15:33walked the crossing
15:34test drove in and out
15:36to different spots
15:36to feel out the bottom
15:37and see where the water
15:38was hitting the vehicle
15:39and made sure
15:40it was completely safe
15:42where all the water
15:43was flowing under the vehicle
15:44and we were good to go.
15:45While not an expert
15:46I have crossed
15:47hundreds of water crossings
15:48off-road in my four-wheel drive
15:50all across Australia
15:51of different depths
15:52and flow rates
15:53and have a good understanding
15:54of what these vehicles
15:55can and can't do
15:56and what to be aware of.
15:58With the GQ being higher
15:59and heavier than the Ute
16:00I made the call
16:01to drive back across
16:02and attach a rope to Lake
16:04and to bring him across
16:05just for that extra safety.
16:11And we made it.
16:13Unfortunately though
16:14the adventure
16:15was not over yet.
16:16Causeway number five.
16:18Yeah so I think
16:19after that one
16:20I counted six more
16:21they've all been
16:22concrete bridges
16:23and they've all been
16:23crossable
16:24like I think
16:25with time to good
16:26none of them
16:27we've had to drive
16:27through water
16:28but some of them
16:29we had to dodge rubble
16:30but this one
16:31we're gonna have to
16:31clear that big tree there
16:32and then probably
16:33clear some of that
16:34shit over there too.
16:35It's what
16:3610.30 at night
16:37is the same thing
16:38we're doing what
16:38two weekends ago
16:39at Chichester State Forest
16:41throughout the bloody midnight
16:42it's gonna be
16:42the same thing tonight
16:43but we're getting there.
16:45By the time
16:46they reached safety
16:46the rain had stopped
16:48and the skies had cleared
16:49almost as if mocking
16:50the turmoil
16:51of the previous 24 hours
16:53yet
16:53the experience
16:55left a deep
16:55and lasting impact
16:56Tyler and his team
16:58had the skills
16:58equipment
16:59and calmness
17:00to manage the situation
17:01for those less prepared
17:02however
17:03the same storm
17:04could have easily
17:05ended in tragedy
17:06sometimes
17:07all it takes
17:08is rising water
17:09and the harsh reality
17:10of having nowhere else
17:11to escape
17:11Dan
17:12a solo van lifer
17:14and content creator
17:15has recently hit the road
17:16again following
17:17shoulder surgery
17:18and major upgrades
17:20to his camper van
17:21at the start of his video
17:22his enthusiasm
17:23for returning
17:24to the nomadic lifestyle
17:25is unmistakable
17:27however
17:28what begins
17:29as a promising return
17:30to van life
17:30soon takes a troubling turn
17:32becoming one of the most
17:33frustrating
17:34and unsettling nights
17:35he's ever experienced
17:36on the road
17:37after departing
17:38from his hometown
17:39in Iowa
17:39Dan makes a few
17:40routine stops
17:41along the way
17:42anxious and excited
17:43about the journey
17:44to come today
17:45I still have to finish
17:45my final steps
17:46of cleaning my water tank
17:47about 24 hours ago
17:49I put bleach in my tank
17:50and while waiting
17:51for that tank to drain
17:52I finished packing up
17:53and organizing
17:53for the road trip
17:54heading west
17:55after everything
17:56had been loaded
17:56into the van
17:57and the tank of bleach
17:58water had been emptied
17:59the last thing to do
17:59was fill the water tank
18:00with fresh water
18:01and then hit the road
18:02a whole quarter mile
18:03down the road
18:04to fill up the fuel tank
18:05with some fuel
18:05and once the van
18:06was full of gas
18:07we made our way
18:07out of town
18:08stopping at the overlook
18:09to take one more look
18:10at the river
18:10and get a couple pictures
18:11of the van
18:12before we head
18:12all the way west
18:13but we have to take
18:14the opportunity
18:15to look at the flooded
18:16Mississippi one more time
18:17before we hit the road
18:18heading all the way west
18:19the river has been
18:20steadily rising
18:21for the past couple weeks
18:22of getting the van ready
18:23and it's been pretty crazy
18:24watching the water level
18:25rise so high
18:25that local businesses
18:27and buildings
18:27are starting to slightly
18:28go underwater
18:29so a couple more pictures
18:30and then we're off
18:31for our travels
18:32the largest reason
18:33that most people
18:33choose to live in a camper
18:34is to be able to travel
18:35and while I'm excited
18:36to put some miles on
18:37more than anything
18:38I'm just looking forward
18:39to being landed in Colorado
18:40traveling's really fun
18:42but it also can be
18:43really hectic and expensive
18:44especially with this being
18:45the first road trip
18:46in a long time
18:46Cassie the dog
18:47was pretty nervous
18:48we made it about
18:49two hours down the road
18:50before pulling over
18:51for our first break
18:52Cassie was pretty anxious
18:53so I just wanted
18:53to let her out
18:54and let her chill
18:55for a little bit
18:55and along with that
18:56the van is overdue
18:57for an oil change
18:58so I found a Walmart
18:58that had big enough doors
19:00to fit the Ford Transit in
19:01turns out it can be tough
19:02to find a garage
19:03that has tall enough doors
19:04to fit a high roof
19:04Ford Transit in it
19:05especially with the
19:06solar panels on top
19:07the good news is
19:08the van is going to
19:09fit inside the shop
19:10the bad news is
19:11it's going to be like
19:12two hours
19:13until the van can get in
19:14for an oil change
19:15so we're relaxing
19:17it was very well needed
19:18Cassie's been anxious
19:19as hell this entire drive
19:21so it was good to
19:22be able to let her
19:23actually calm down
19:25for a minute
19:25it's sort of relaxing
19:26until a bay opens up
19:27and once a bay opens up
19:29I think Cassie and I
19:29are going to look to see
19:30if there's anything
19:31to do around here
19:31we're going to go
19:32on a little walk
19:33let her burn some energy
19:34and then hopefully
19:35there's like a dog store around
19:37we're in like a really nice
19:38like shopping center
19:39so I kind of assume
19:40that there's like a Petco
19:41or something around here
19:42I'd really like to be able
19:43to take Cassie in there
19:44and have her do something
19:44that's fun
19:45so that's the plan
19:47this includes an oil change
19:49a quick bite to eat
19:50and a stop at Petco
19:52for his pet
19:53Cassie
19:54however
19:54during the oil change
19:56something out of the
19:57ordinary occurs
19:58we got a bite to eat
19:59for me
20:00and we went to the Petco
20:01got her a doggy treat
20:02while we were there
20:03I did find one drawer
20:04unlocked
20:04that I left locked
20:06in the van
20:06and there was some
20:07boot prints
20:08in the back of the van
20:09like the guys were
20:10messing around
20:11inside the van
20:12kind of weird
20:12there's no reason
20:13to come back
20:14in the living space
20:15for any reason at all
20:16doing an oil change
20:17I don't see anything
20:17missing
20:18and I don't care
20:19they're probably
20:19just checking it out
20:20I do have the dash cam
20:22plugged in
20:22it looks like maybe
20:23it was recorded
20:24the whole time
20:24so hopefully
20:25I can get that footage
20:25and put it in right now
20:26there might be some
20:27really funny responses
20:28about the racing sim
20:29being in the passenger seat
20:30but I'm gonna eat
20:31this burrito
20:31and then we're gonna
20:32hit the road
20:33it's always fun
20:33eating at Mexican restaurants
20:34as I travel
20:35Mexican food can vary
20:36so much
20:37from restaurant to restaurant
20:38and especially
20:38state to state
20:39I was trying to wait
20:40to get some Santiago's
20:42in Sterling Colorado
20:43but I caved
20:44when I saw this place
20:45near the Petco
20:45eating this mid-Iowa burrito
20:47not only has me more excited
20:48for Colorado
20:49for the burrito
20:50but also it has me thinking
20:51about camping in the mountains
20:52and how much I can't wait
20:53to have a good view
20:54but first I need to get
20:55some more gas
20:56this is the second fuel up
20:57of the trip
20:58and after that
20:59we're meeting it
20:59for the long haul
21:00with a full belly
21:01full tank of gas
21:02fresh oil
21:03and a happy dog
21:0461.81
21:06so we're about
21:06100 bucks so far
21:08we're not even out of Iowa
21:09god damn
21:11when Dan returns
21:20to the van
21:21he notices something off
21:23a drawer he had locked
21:24is now open
21:25and there are boot prints
21:26in the rear cargo area
21:28although nothing seems
21:29to be missing
21:29the discovery is unsettling
21:31his dash cam
21:32might have recorded
21:33whoever entered the van
21:34but Dan decides
21:35not to dwell on it
21:36and continues his trip
21:37he heads west
21:38aiming to reach Colorado
21:40by nightfall
21:40after hours of driving
21:42across the flat
21:43open plains
21:44fatigue sets in
21:45he eventually pulls off
21:46at a campsite he found
21:48through a travel app
21:48remote
21:49quiet
21:50and seemingly perfect
21:52for a few hours of rest
21:53before moving on
21:54but that's
21:55when things take
21:56a darker turn
21:57a tick on me
21:58and when I looked closer
21:59I found another tick on me
22:01and another
22:02and I pulled about
22:03five off of me
22:04before it hit me
22:05how many are on Cassie
22:06so as I was looking
22:07Cassie over for more ticks
22:09I realized that
22:09the french fries were still
22:10in the oven
22:11and I absolutely fried them
22:12so it was just really
22:13seeming like one of those days
22:15so Cassie gets a waterless bath
22:17just spraying her over
22:18with the anti-tick
22:19and flea spray that I have
22:20and then I get a nice
22:21sink shower
22:22and for some reason
22:23I didn't use my brand new
22:24water heater
22:25it was just all a little
22:26too much to take in
22:27so I took a cold shower
22:28and that really was
22:29a nice humbling moment
22:30shortly after settling in
22:32Dan senses that
22:33something isn't right
22:34he discovers multiple ticks
22:36on his body
22:37not just one or two
22:38and quickly realizes
22:39they must have come
22:40from the surrounding area
22:41even worse
22:42his dog Cassie
22:43is also covered in them
22:44in a frantic attempt
22:45to get rid of the pests
22:46he uses flea spray
22:48and rigs up a sink shower
22:49to clean both himself
22:50and Cassie
22:51the situation quickly
22:53spirals into chaos
22:54with the infestation
22:55proving too severe
22:56to manage in such
22:57a remote location
22:58as night falls
22:59and Dan finally
23:00crawls into bed
23:00still itchy
23:02uneasy
23:02and exhausted
23:04a new
23:05far more serious
23:06problem begins
23:07to unfold
23:07what's going on bud
23:13so I just woke up
23:15to the noise
23:15of something
23:16rutting around
23:17outside the van
23:18I don't know
23:18if it was somebody
23:19fucking with the
23:20back door handle
23:21or if it was just
23:21somebody bumping
23:22against the van
23:23but we were parked
23:24somewhere
23:25that there should be
23:25no one near the van
23:27and then I heard
23:28a loud belch
23:29I got up
23:30and grabbed
23:30my safety device
23:31and I haven't heard
23:33anything since
23:33and that's when I
23:35realized somebody's
23:35trying to break
23:36into the van
23:37I can hear somebody
23:38tugging on the door
23:38handle
23:39and I am out
23:40in the middle
23:41of nowhere
23:41and by this point
23:43in the day
23:43I'm just irritated
23:44that my night's sleep
23:45is now going to be
23:45completely ruined
23:46not only by the bed
23:47bugs and ticks
23:48but by some Jimmy
23:49trying to break
23:50into the van
23:51normal person
23:51probably would have
23:52got up and drove
23:53to a new parking
23:54spot at that time
23:55but I just truly
23:55had not one fuck
23:57left to give
23:58so we tried to go
23:59back to sleep
24:00I cannot sleep
24:01Cassie's being antsy
24:04I swear to god
24:05there's bugs in the bed
24:06I feel like they're
24:08everywhere
24:08it's crazy
24:09the dog's gonna act
24:12like she needs to
24:13go outside
24:13to go to the bathroom
24:14but we can't go out
24:15there because there's
24:16fucking ticks
24:17everywhere
24:19around midnight
24:21Dan begins to hear
24:22unsettling noises
24:23outside the van
24:24these aren't the
24:25sounds of wildlife
24:26they resemble footsteps
24:28movement
24:28and then the
24:30distinct pressure
24:30of someone
24:31testing the rear doors
24:32someone is out there
24:34trying the handles
24:34possibly attempting
24:36to break in
24:36what started
24:37as a frustrating
24:38but manageable night
24:39suddenly turns
24:41into a potential threat
24:42isolated
24:43without neighbors
24:44or immediate help
24:45Dan can do nothing
24:46but remain silent
24:47and hope the intruder
24:48leaves
24:49the noises persist
24:50briefly
24:51at one point
24:52he even hears
24:53what might be a voice
24:54or a belch
24:55before everything
24:56falls eerily silent
24:58it's just enough
24:59to unnerve him
25:00and trigger every fear
25:02a solo traveler
25:02might have
25:03despite the fear
25:04Dan makes the
25:05difficult choice
25:06to stay put
25:07trying to leave
25:08would mean stepping out
25:09and packing
25:10in complete darkness
25:11potentially exposing
25:12himself to whoever
25:14or whatever
25:15is nearby
25:16he lies awake
25:17unable to shake
25:18the anxiety
25:19the tick infestation
25:21combined with the
25:22creeping fear
25:22of being watched
25:23or followed
25:23makes sleep
25:25nearly impossible
25:26Cassie is restless
25:27too
25:27likely sensing
25:28Dan's tension
25:29the van offers
25:30no sense of safety
25:31only discomfort
25:32and unease
25:33by morning
25:34nothing has improved
25:35Cassie is still
25:36infested with ticks
25:37prompting Dan
25:38to rush her to a vet
25:39the emotional toll
25:41of the night
25:41is written all over him
25:42what was meant
25:43to be a smooth
25:44joyful return
25:45to van life
25:46has instead
25:47turned into a
25:48sleepless
25:49paranoid
25:49and exhausting
25:50ordeal
25:51so what do you think
25:52really happened
25:53out there
25:54as always
25:54let me know
25:55your thoughts
25:55Jody and Joe
25:57a UK based couple
25:58are documenting
25:59their journey
26:00as they leave behind
26:01their London life
26:02to embrace
26:02full-time van living
26:04their channel
26:05is known
26:05for its candid
26:05portrayal
26:06of van renovations
26:07life on the road
26:09and the unforeseen
26:10challenges of living
26:11in a small mobile home
26:12while their videos
26:13typically showcase
26:14DIY projects
26:15and travel adventures
26:16one night early
26:18in their van
26:19life journey
26:20took a much darker turn
26:21they begin by sharing
26:22highlights
26:23from their trip
26:24through Wales
26:24typical content
26:26for van lifers
26:27enjoying the freedom
26:28of the open road
26:29our trip to Wales
26:30was an overwhelming success
26:31the views were to die for
26:33we loved driving
26:34through the valleys
26:35up in top of the hills
26:36seeing all the sheep
26:38I think our favourite
26:39place to camp
26:39was in a valley
26:40we spent two nights there
26:42and it was near a river
26:43and it was just so beautiful
26:45to be in amongst
26:46all the hills
26:46and see the stars
26:47at night
26:48from the bottom
26:48Joe managed to find
26:50a house that he would
26:50really like to buy
26:51it was nestled in
26:53like a forest
26:53on the side of a lake
26:55and Joe was like
26:55if I'm going to live in Wales
26:56that's the house
26:57I'm going to buy
26:57we ate really well
26:59we had a home cooked meal
27:00every night
27:00we don't have all that
27:01much counter space
27:02and there's not much
27:03area for chopping
27:04vegetables
27:05chopping meat
27:06we did however
27:06manage to make
27:07ourselves a roast
27:08which went really well
27:09courtesy of the
27:10Ninja Foodie
27:11it was the perfect
27:12first destination
27:13for our van life adventure
27:14at around 4am
27:16while parked
27:17and sleeping inside
27:18their converted
27:192018 Peugeot Boxer
27:21Joe was suddenly
27:22jolted awake
27:23by the sound
27:24of the back doors
27:25opening
27:25when he opened
27:26his eyes
27:27he found a stranger
27:28staring straight at him
27:29the intruder
27:30was already inside
27:31the van
27:32creating a moment
27:33of sheer shock
27:34rather than fleeing
27:35or panicking
27:36the person calmly
27:37backed away
27:38and slipped into
27:39the darkness
27:39as if nothing
27:40out of the ordinary
27:41had occurred
27:42the feeling of
27:43vulnerability
27:43was immediate
27:44and intense
27:45the couple later
27:46insisted that they
27:47were certain
27:47the doors had been
27:48locked
27:48as they always do
27:49at night
27:50it's 4 in the morning
27:52and I've just been
27:53woken up
27:54by some guy
27:54opening the back door
27:56I've no idea
28:04if he drilled it
28:05and I was in a deep sleep
28:06I open my eyes
28:07and there's a guy
28:08staring me in the face
28:09and I just shouted
28:09at the guy
28:10and said
28:10what the f***
28:11and he just calmly
28:12backed away
28:13and walked up the road
28:14and just disappeared
28:15like it was nothing
28:17so dangerous
28:18I'm sure I locked
28:21the door
28:22I always lock the door
28:23I shut the back door
28:34and locked it
28:35but
28:35but yeah
28:37now I'm just up
28:38and looking out the window
28:38nervously
28:39however this incident
28:50led them to examine
28:51the lock mechanisms
28:52more closely
28:53uncovering a troubling issue
28:55after recreating
28:56the scenario
28:56they discovered
28:58that the van's
28:58locking system
28:59wasn't fully engaging
29:00although the door
29:01produced the typical
29:02locked sound
29:03from the outside
29:04the back door
29:05the one the intruder used
29:07could still be easily opened
29:09their thorough testing
29:10confirmed
29:11that the back door
29:12might seem locked
29:13but remain accessible
29:14if the locking system
29:15hadn't completely reset
29:17after our running
29:19with the burglar
29:19we wanted to double check
29:21that we know how to
29:22lock everything properly
29:22the only way
29:23the guy could have got in
29:24is either if he picked the lock
29:26or if Jody didn't lock it properly
29:27we're starting to think
29:29that the guy didn't
29:29break into the door
29:30and maybe it's not
29:31locking properly
29:32we're going to do a test run
29:34lock up
29:34and Jody's going to be
29:35the intruder
29:35that should lock the van
29:38but I don't think it is
29:39it still makes the sound
29:41but it doesn't turn red
29:42so let's try locking it
29:44this is how we got in
29:50we didn't lock it properly
29:52but I pressed lock
29:53I think it needs to
29:54reset the system
29:55so I think you press
29:56the button once

29:58to unlock
29:58and then you press it again
29:59to get the red light
30:00open the door
30:04try the back door
30:06so you're saying
30:11the burglar
30:11didn't break in
30:12I left it
30:13I'm pretty sure
30:13either you didn't
30:14lock it properly
30:15or he's like a whiz
30:16with a lock pick
30:17although the man
30:18didn't seem aggressive
30:19and nothing was taken
30:21the thought of someone
30:22silently entering
30:23their mobile home
30:24in the dead of night
30:24was deeply unsettling
30:26it wasn't just about
30:27the risk of theft
30:28it was the frightening ease
30:30with which something
30:31far worse
30:32could have happened
30:32right after the incident
30:34they took steps
30:35to improve their van security
30:36they installed a deadbolt
30:38to block any future break-ins
30:39and planned additional reinforcements
30:41this moment sparked
30:42a broader reflection
30:43on safety in van life
30:44a reminder that
30:45even in beautiful
30:46remote locations
30:47you can never truly
30:49assume you're alone
30:50despite the unsettling experience
30:52Jody and Joe
30:53stayed positive
30:54and continued upgrading
30:56their van
30:56with renewed focus
30:57and determination

31:01188
31:04yeah
31:05I don't know how
31:06we're going to get it in
31:07after our break-in debacle
31:09and Mr. Cartlocker Van
31:11has installed a deadbolt
31:13we're going to move on
31:14to the next part
31:15of our build
31:15which is to separate
31:16the garage from
31:17the front of
31:18did you just walk
31:20into the bin?
31:22we're going to move on
31:23to the next part
31:24of our project
31:25which is to separate
31:26the garage from
31:27the shelving area
31:27at the back
31:28what we need to do
31:29is cut the wheel arches
31:29out
31:30and then bend the wood
31:31to get it in
31:32what are you bleaching about?
31:33so what's this called?
31:34under skirt?
31:37try it again
31:38it goes under the
31:40under the fridge
31:41skirting board
31:42it's not a skirting board
31:43what are you doing?
31:44trying to measure the arch
31:46I feel there's
31:47there's a better way
31:48surely if you do something
31:49with a compass
31:50a compass?
31:51just do something
31:52with a compass?
31:53what makes this encounter
31:54especially chilling
31:55isn't just the break-in itself
31:57but how quiet
31:59and calculated it was
32:00for a channel
32:01usually filled with
32:02positivity and adventure
32:04this was a rare
32:05and sobering glimpse
32:06into the risks
32:07that sometimes accompany
32:08the freedom of the road
32:09what are your thoughts
32:11on this encounter?
32:12feel free to share
32:13this video comes from
32:14the Cali Bigfoots team
32:15who returned to
32:16a remote forest location
32:18they've been exploring
32:19for over 16 years
32:20according to them
32:21the area is known
32:22as a hotbed
32:23of unexplained phenomena
32:24including Bigfoot sightings
32:26strange noises
32:27and even incidents
32:28of lost time
32:29during the day
32:30the team begins
32:32by surveying the site
32:33pointing out unusual signs
32:35such as
32:35flattened areas
32:36oddly positioned trees
32:38and bent branches
32:39that seem to have been
32:40intentionally manipulated
32:41one particular spot
32:43stands out
32:44cleared in a way
32:45that looks unnatural
32:46as if cut with a machete
32:48or prepared by someone
32:50for a specific purpose
32:51I'm going to leave
32:53this right here
32:53look at
32:54hey
32:55dude it's so flat
32:56I don't know
32:57if it was this flat
32:58the last time
32:58why is it all
32:59like somebody cut it
33:02yeah somebody came in
33:03and cut it
33:03clear
33:25so
33:25every time we come up here
33:29we have the microphones on
33:31we have earphones
33:32throughout the night
33:33and we always hear
33:35something
33:36messing
33:37around
33:38the
33:40the campsite
33:42with the dishes
33:43moving stuff
33:44on the tables
33:45we look outside
33:46to the windows
33:47we don't see anything
33:48we usually have the flare
33:50pointed outward
33:51but you know what
33:53let's have it pointed
33:54towards the campsite
33:55this time
33:55and see if maybe
33:57if we start hearing it
33:58we could see
33:58whatever it is
33:59being that it's
34:01heat sensitive
34:02I mean
34:02so
34:03I got
34:04ghillie suit here
34:06and I am going
34:08to
34:09camouflage
34:13the tripod
34:16as much as I can
34:18later on tonight
34:36we'll come out
34:36and adjust it a little bit more
34:39but
34:39there we go
34:41they also come across
34:43a dense arrangement
34:44of branches and foliage
34:45that appears to resemble
34:47a possible shelter
34:48or resting area
34:49adding to the mystery
34:51they discover a length
34:52of braided string
34:53tied between two trees
34:55a strange and unexplained
34:57man-made element
34:57in an otherwise
34:59untouched natural environment
35:00later
35:01they search the surrounding woods
35:03for footprints
35:04and other indications
35:05of activity
35:05let's go
35:07that way
35:07that
35:19hmm
35:22pretty deep
35:25oh man
35:26those are huge
35:27what do you think
35:31that's like a footprint
35:39to me
35:40going up
35:42or going down
35:43there's another deep
35:44down
35:44looks down
35:46you kind of notice
35:53the pattern
35:54going down
35:54yup
35:54sure do
35:55shh
35:56yeah
36:00exactly
36:00you
36:14the toes up here
36:15oh yeah
36:18heel
36:20hold right there
36:21yup
36:21shit
36:22it looks like
36:25the toes at the top
36:27I sure see that
36:32a little pigeon
36:43shit
36:46kid having fun
36:48A few markings on the ground appear to resemble large bipedal footprints.
37:10In response, the team leaves out some fruit as a peace offering and positions a thermally
37:15sensitive camera, carefully concealed with a ghillie suit, in hopes of capturing any nocturnal
37:21visitors.
37:22As darkness sets in, the situation begins to intensify.
37:26I'm trying to look for eyeshine.
37:37That'll work too.
37:42I'll just turn mine off.
37:49I can't see where I'm walking so I'll get it.
37:56I can't see where I'm walking so I'll get it.
38:03I can't see where I'm walking so I'll get it.
38:16I can't see where I'm walking so I'll get it.
38:23I'm getting sleepy.
38:31frogs are loud
38:50hey christian yeah you might need to throw another piece
38:58to bark down there to shoot the frogs up again
39:05that's all christian needs to throw another stick at the frogs
39:13that's what we did last time huh
39:16shit
39:21the team records a series of faint yet distinct footsteps circling their
39:25campsite the movements are slow and intentional clearly an effort to stay
39:29quiet but still captured by their sensitive audio gear these sounds
39:33continue until well past 4 30 a.m. with one team member noting that birds had
39:38already begun singing before the footsteps finally ceased one particularly
39:44unsettling moment occurs at 7 17 a.m. when the entire forest falls unnaturally
39:49silent something the team has observed in past encounters although no creature
39:53is visually confirmed the consistency and calculated nature of the sounds suggest
39:58some form of intelligence possibly indicating that they were being
40:02observed by something deliberately staying out of sight they also notice a
40:06flattened area of ground near their gear as if something had sat or lain there
40:10overnight there are no signs of damage or aggression the close proximity and
40:14prolonged audio presence significantly heighten the tension while the first
40:19night passed uneventfully the second night left a deep impression the team is
40:24convinced that something bipedal was present quietly circling them for hours
40:28whether it was bigfoot or another unknown entity remains uncertain but they
40:33firmly believe they were being watched and studied there may be no direct
40:37footage of a creature but the combination of audio evidence physical impressions and
40:43the team's deep familiarity with the area makes this one of their most compelling
40:48experiences to date personally i think that even if it wasn't bigfoot something was
40:54definitely out there that night moving deliberately and trying not to be seen
40:58but as always i'd love to hear your thoughts outdoor family is a turkish channel
41:03renowned for sharing peaceful heartwarming camping moments that highlight the beauty
41:08of nature and the joy of spending time outdoors with family on a trip in late
41:13November 2023 what started as a picturesque autumn getaway took a disturbing turn the
41:20family had picked a very quiet secluded location surrounded by colorful fall leaves and
41:24framed by forested hills
41:54the
42:08the
42:09time
42:10during the day everything seemed normal they gathered mushrooms collected firewood and shared peaceful
42:17moments together however as night approached the atmosphere changed not just in temperature but in mood
42:23the camera captured the eerie stillness that has settled over the forest
42:27later that evening unusual noises echoed near the edge of their campsite at first the sounds were hard to identify
42:34assuming it was nothing serious they carried on with their routine unaware of what had actually been recorded just beyond their tent

43:23Yes.
43:25I'll put the cap on the chest and the neck.
43:29Okay?
43:31Okay.
43:47The following morning, after reviewing their trail camera footage from near the edge of the campsite, they uncovered the real source of the mysterious sounds.
44:07The video showed a pack of wild wolves, four, possibly five, quietly circling their sight.
44:14The animals had remained hidden, never revealing themselves or acting aggressively, and hadn't set off any obvious alarms during the night.
44:22Yet, they had been there, silently observing.
44:25The footage captures the wolves lingering near the brush for an extended period, stalking from a distance, even while one of the adults stepped outside the tent to gather firewood.
44:34Completely unaware of how close he was, he ventured out alone and returned unharmed.
44:44The THE AND RACHEL CAKE word right away from each other, at the level of the sky.
45:51What are you doing?
45:54Last night, the photographer caught the bird.
45:56How are you?
45:57Yes.
45:58When I opened the door, I didn't see them.
46:04But they saw me.
46:07How many?
46:09Four or five years ago.
46:11Good.
46:12Good.
46:13No.
46:14Despite the unsettling discovery, the family stayed calm and didn't leave their campsite.
46:20Instead, they took the moment to quietly reflect on the unpredictability of nature.
46:25Fortunately, the wolves didn't act aggressively that night.
46:28Otherwise, the situation could have turned frightening.
46:31Especially with children on the trip.
46:33As always, I'll leave it up to you to decide what to make of this encounter.
