00:11southwest monsoon or habagat. Pag-Asa also updated its 11 a.m. rainfall outlook to include four
00:17Visayas provinces, Antique, Iloilo, Guimaras, and Negros Occidental, which may now experience
00:23moderate to heavy rain earlier than previously predicted. The agency also reports that a low
00:28pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, east of Aurora, developed into
00:33a tropical depression at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22. Its local name is Dante as the country's fourth
00:39tropical cyclone for the year. Meantime, Malacanang says President Marcos, who is currently on an
00:46official trip to the U.S., was reportedly dismayed after hearing that government workers were setting
00:50up sauna materials in public areas while many communities were still dealing with heavy floods.
00:55A statement from the executive secretary says, quote,
00:58Let me be clear, all sauna-related preparations are hereby ordered immediately suspended.
