01:42In 1897, strange airships were spotted across the American Midwest,

01:46long before the Wright brothers ever flew.

01:48And yet, in every century, the witnesses said the same thing.

01:51It moved like nothing we know.

01:53It came and went without sound.

01:55It watched.

01:56Samuel, ever the scientist, catalogued his experience as anomaly, not evidence.

03:30One suggests that intelligent civilizations destroy themselves before mastering interstellar travel.

03:37Nuclear war, AI collapse, ecological suicide.

03:41Another proposes the Great Filter, a hidden barrier in evolution that very few civilizations overcome.

03:47We don't know if humanity has already passed the filter, or if it's still ahead of us.

03:53But then there's the most disturbing possibility of all.

03:57And we simply don't understand what they are.

05:40The phenomenon adapts, morphs, evolves.

05:42Not just in shape, but in meaning.

05:48a Navy pilot named Commander David Fravor

05:51encountered a tic-tac-shaped object hovering over the ocean.

08:17what if we are the signals to be continued?
