00:22para tiyakin na nakatutugo ng mabilis

00:25ang iba't ibang stakeholder ng energy sector.

00:27Kasunod na rin ang epekto ng bagyong krising at hanging habagat.

00:31Kabilang na rito ang pagresponde ng Meralco sa mga customer nito

00:35na nakaranas ng power interruption.

00:37Base sa datos ng Meralco, as of 12 noon kahapon,

00:41aabot sa higit 11,000 customers ang apektado

00:44at mula sa bilang na ito, halos kalahati ay sa lalawigan ng Cavite.

00:49Ang ask lang namin sa Meralco to make it be more prudent or observant,

00:55proactive within the next 48 hours kasi baka bumuhos pa eh.

01:02Ang problem is other than yung mga minor na mga pwedeng i-fix within a few minutes,

01:10ang problem yung baha eh.

01:12Sabi ng Kalihi, mahirap makapasok sa mga ito

01:15at kahit kasi makapasok, ay delikado na muling buksan ng kuryente matapos na mabaha.

01:20Nakatulong naman na hindi ganun kahangin.

01:22Binigyang D.A. ni Garina, mahalaga rin na ipinapaalam ng publiko

01:26na sa kanilang lugar ay walang supply ng kuryente.

01:29Well, in terms of readiness, Meralco is always ready for an event like this through the years.

01:37And pag sinusukat namin yung aming readiness into sinasabi natin in terms of the systems,

01:44in terms of the processes or protocols,

01:47and most importantly in terms of people or resources,

01:50but we have enough people to respond to the troubles that are being reported to us.

01:56Pagdating naman sa paghahanda, lalot may banta ng low pressure area,

02:01ang DOE ay bahagi ng paghahanda ng NDRRMC.

02:05How we execute is safety is the primordial consideration.

02:10So we make sure that each team will have a safety officer,
