00:00For the sprint it's lights out and away we go and I think Verstappen got a better start than Lewis Hamilton

00:07and he's already ahead, Valtteri Bottas is trying to pressure his teammate as well

00:11but Verstappen in the turn one ahead of Lewis Hamilton, then comes Bottas and then comes Leclerc

00:16and then we've got three Perez and the two McLarens going in the village together

00:20almost contact there between Daniel Ricciardo and Sergio Perez

00:23and at the back there's a spinner and I think it's Nikita Mazepin

00:26For the third time this year Max Verstappen has out dragged Hamilton down to the first corner

00:32now he's trying to break the slipstream into Brooklyn's corner

00:35Hamilton will not get around the outside there because it's too tight, the corner tightens on you

00:40Luffield a long long right hand corner into Woodco and the old pit straight

00:44and down towards Copse we're going to head now on this old pit straight

00:48can Hamilton try and get back ahead of Max Verstappen and he's trying to get a slipstream as well

00:52Hamilton's going to try and dance around the outside, Verstappen stays ahead

01:01Fastest man in qualifying yesterday down the straight, Lewis Hamilton

01:05Slowest man, Max Verstappen, he's carrying a lot more downforce

01:09He needs to get out of these corners and actually that sort of half move there of Lewis has cost him ground

01:15Just look now at the distance as we head into Stowe between Verstappen and Hamilton

01:19Bottas third, then comes Leclerc, then comes the fast starting Fernando Alonso

01:23And there goes Sergio Perez on the inside at Stowe getting past the McLaren of Daniel Ricciardo

01:29We can see the start here and those brakes, they're on fire as the lights go out

01:36Look at the flames on the left-hand side, look at how Max Verstappen got away

01:40Yeah, because he put so much temperature in the brakes to give himself front tyre pressure as well and temperature

01:45This is the incident between George Russell and Carlos Sainz, lock up from the McLaren and Russell

01:50Just tapping the Ferrari as it then headed off towards the barriers

01:54This is Nikita Mazepin, oh, tangled with his teammate Mick Schumacher and that's what sent him into a spin

02:00Into Maggots and then Beckets and then, as they have to weave because the corners go right and left and right and left

02:06He just loses it in the ground, Perez is round, Perez is spinning, that's going in the wall

02:10Sergio Perez off and off in a big way, damage to the front wing, he's managed to keep going

02:17Can he limp back to the pits here? Oh, this is horrendous for Sergio Perez

02:21Who nearly gets collected as he makes his way back onto the hangar straight

02:26Well, that's the jeopardy we talked about in this sprint and the last thing that Perez or Red Bull needed

02:33In the turbulent air following two other cars

02:36Lando Norris is ahead of Fernando Alonso, we saw him closing and he managed to make the move

02:43So he is now up to fifth, so making one place from his initial grid spot in this sprint on the Saturday afternoon

02:50It started like a race, it certainly carried on like a race for the first few corners

02:55And then they'll wave a funny little black and white flag and it'll be the end of it

02:59And that is a lovely move from Daniel Ricciardo

03:02The double switch back there and now he can scamper off down the road

03:07He might have to do a little bit of an Alonso weave down there, but of course he's got the DRS

03:11He's got the DRS, Alonso's got the slipstream, who's going to come out on top?

03:15Into Brooklands we go, Ricciardo had the inside line, that certainly helped him there

03:19Fernando Alonso trying to dance around the outside at Luffield

03:23Will switch back and try and move himself, I'm sure, as down the old pit straight we go

03:27And towards Cox, where Fernando Alonso's had some brilliant battles over the years

03:31And he's going to try another one in 2021

03:34And Daniel Ricciardo just keeps ahead of Fernando Alonso

03:38The qualifying sprint on this Saturday goes to Max Verstappen for the fourth race in a row

03:45In 2021, Verstappen's going to be on pole

03:48He sprints home to take the sprint on this Saturday

03:52Red Bull with the victory and three championship points for the championship leader

03:57Hamilton's second, Bottas comes home third

04:00Charles Leclerc for the fourth race this season will start fourth on the grid

04:04And Lando Norris will come home to take fifth

04:07Meanwhile, George Russell still ahead then

04:09Of Esteban Ocon, Carlos Sainz still ahead of Pierre Gasly

04:13It's Alonso from 11th on this grid to 7th on the grid for the Grand Prix

04:18Sebastian Vettel will start eighth ahead of Russell

04:20And then Ocon, Sainz and then Gasly

04:23Kimi Räikkönen are making up places to start 13th for the Grand Prix

04:26And Astrol and Giovinazzi, Sonoda Latifi, Schumacher-Mazepin and Pérez

04:31With a DNF to his name
