Some 250 badminton enthusiasts converged at the SBE Serla Charity Badminton Tournament in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur on July 20 to put their skills to the test and do something for the underprivileged communities. 00:30So, for this tournament, not only Malaysian that joined, we got players that come from

00:42from China and Indonesia also participating in this tournament.

00:46And a lot of local clubs that are supporting us and send their players to come and play

00:53today.

00:54As you can see as a title there, we're having a charity world.

00:57So mainly, we'll be donating and crowdfunding funds from this tournament, and then we will

01:04donate it to some NGO in local society.

01:08In this tournament, total we're having eight categories, which is boys single under 10,

01:1312, 14, and 16, and we're having girls single under 14, and mixed double Bagat Baru, men's

01:20double Bagat Baru, and men's double semi-pro.

01:26In our 22 years of business in this electrical industry, we always look to do this kind

01:35of community projects to benefit the society.

01:40And sports is one of the areas that we focus because sports is a very good, actually, platform

01:48to bring all the community together, and all the races together.

01:53So we always focus on this area, and we have done quite many tournaments, you know, together

01:59with other organisations.

02:01Of course, we also participate in some community work.

02:04For example, we do the eye screening project in Sungai Bulu, and during COVID time, we also collaborate

02:11with the village heads to provide some food assistance to those who need the help.
