00:01Hey guys, as I'm sure you've heard by now, we had a fire here at Baveda last night, mid-service.
00:07We're still trying to figure out exactly what happened, but as you can see, it was in the kitchen.
00:13The damage, everything's being assessed. It's still pretty raw. We're trying to process it.
00:18We do appreciate everyone's support. We are working overtime to get our doors open as soon as possible, as quickly as we possibly can.
00:27I'd just like to give a big shout out to our staff and anybody who was here last night for their prompt actions and getting everybody out safely and soundly, and the fireys for doing their job.
00:37We really do appreciate containing it in the kitchen, the kitchen only.
00:41Yeah, the Thrill Fireys did an amazing job. They got it under control so quickly and we're so grateful for them.
00:47Also really want to thank all of our customers. We didn't have a spare seat in the house and everyone was so amazing and so understanding and we appreciate you all so much.
00:55And everyone else that had booked in that night who we had to cancel, we appreciate all of the support and the patience as well.
01:02And to our staff too. Everyone was amazing. Our front of house helped get everyone under control and then our back of house were doing everything that they could to fight the fire until it was too late.
01:14And then I guess everyone in the community that sent us a message, even early hours this morning, making sure you're alright.
01:22And yeah, if you do have a booking with us, we're doing everything we can to open as soon as it's possible.
01:31Keep an eye out in the next couple of days and we'll have some updates for everyone.
01:34We're working pretty hard on getting open, believe it or not, this coming weekend.
