Baby Grandmothers - Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out 1967 (Sweden, Heavy Psychedelic Rock)
Musical climate in Sweden mid - late 60's was heavily influenced by the bit and psychedelic scenes. Emergence of an entirely new musical movements coincided with obvious stagnation in the field of culture, which has a beneficial impact on the rapid growth of these new trends. Political instability of European society coexisted with experiments in the field of consciousness and psychotropic drugs . Such experiments are actively used in popular culture : artists and musicians in every way sought to broaden the scope of his consciousness. From all parts of the Nordic people , greedy for the new and bizarre , flocked to Stockholm, which gradually became a center for experimental and non-format music. In a short period of time in the city opened countless clubs, one of which was called «Filips», who was in the vicinity of King's Garden. The club lasted only a few months during the summer of 1967 , however , has become a sort of clearinghouse psychedelic -leaning groups . Among the regulars were "Hansson & Carlsson", "Mecki Mark Men" and "Baby Grandmothers". The group jammed in the club with Hendrix himself , but as a drummer even has involved somehow drummer of «The Mothers Of Invention». Later they supported Hendrix on his tour of Sweden .
