Guwahati (Assam) July 18, 2025 (ANI): – Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has launched a scathing attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of being selective in her approach towards the welfare of Bengalis.
00:00Mamta Banerjee should realize that in Assam, Bengali Hindus are not only protected, they have been assimilated in the greater Assam's landscape.
00:17Today they have their ministers, they have their MLA, and they are doing a whole lot of a thing.
00:26They are practicing their language, they are practicing their religion, they are practicing Durga Puja, they are worshipping Puja, they are part of the greater Assam's society.
00:40Their language, the Bengali is the associate official language of Assam. Bengali is the official language in the Borag Valley.
00:48And there is no division between Assam's and Bengali's in Assam.
00:53However, I will question Mamta that if you are at all interested with the Bengali people, then why not you implement CAA in West Bengal?
01:06Question is whether Mamta Banerjee like Bengali or C like only Muslim Bengali?
01:12That is the question. In my answer, Mamta Banerjee like only Muslim Bengali.
