Day 4, His Greatness

00:00To truly reflect, fairly and with an open heart, on the life of the Prophet Muhammad,

00:08peace be upon him, is to stand in awe of a greatness that defies human limits.

00:15He, peace be upon him, embodied a constellation of rare and extraordinary qualities

00:20that in one person seem almost unimaginable.

00:24Without political power, wealth or formal education, he reshaped the world.

00:29He rewrote history without drafting a single battle plan.

00:33Born into a society void of law, he established a timeless legal framework, followed by millions.

00:40In a land riddled with tribal conflict, he united hearts and minds into a single, purposeful nation.

00:47He, peace be upon him, brought forth the Quran, an eternal masterpiece of language and guidance,

00:54while being unlettered himself.

00:56Scholars, thinkers and seekers of truth have drawn from his wisdom for centuries,

01:01despite the fact that he never sat in a classroom.

01:04His companions said he smiled more than anyone, even though grief and hardship followed him like a shadow.

01:11He faced mighty armies with nothing but faith and a handful of loyal followers, and he prevailed.

01:20He forgave enemies who had plotted his death, turning them into devoted protectors.

01:26He was a nurturing father, though he never knew the embrace of his own.

01:31He offered hope when despair seemed certain, light when all around him was darkness.

01:37He invited emperors and kings to embrace Islam, then stitched his own shoes and milked his goat.

01:45He soared to the heavens on the night journey, then returned to sit humbly on the floor with the poor.

01:51He was a lion in battle, yet a gentle soul with his family.

01:55He had access to riches, yet passed away with nothing in his home, but love, faith and legacy.

02:03He, peace be upon him, didn't just preach humility, patience, truth and generosity.

02:10He lived them, every single day.

02:14To call the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, merely a man, is to call the sun just a spark, or a diamond just another stone.

02:24He was the crown of creation, the final messenger of Allah, the bearer of the last divine revelation to all of humanity.

02:32And in every breath of his life, we see not just greatness, but divine purpose.
