00:00Peace be upon him. His leadership was rooted in unwavering moral integrity, a quality that never
00:07changed over the years. Unlike many who become corrupt or arrogant after gaining power or wealth,
00:14the prophet, peace be upon him, remained a model of humility and righteousness. Whether he was a
00:20vulnerable man in Makkah with only a few followers or a powerful leader in Medina, he, peace be upon
00:27him, always honored his word, even when dealing with his most hostile enemies. This steadfast
00:34commitment to his principles made him not just a leader, but a trustworthy example for all.
00:40One of the many reasons why the companions deeply loved and respected him was because he led by
00:45example. He lived among them not as a distant figure, but as a brother and friend. When the
00:52mosque was being built, the prophet, peace be upon him, carried bricks with his companions.
00:58When it was time to dig the trench, he was right there digging beside them. During battles, he stood
01:04on the front lines. In times of hunger, he was the last to eat. He shared in their joys and sorrows,
01:11attending their weddings, their funerals, and all matters of life in between. Despite receiving direct
01:17revelation from Allah, the prophet, peace be upon him, still consulted his companions and valued their
01:23opinions. This sincere humility is what made his followers so devoted. They were ready to stand beside
01:30him, fight for him, and even give their lives for his cause. His leadership transformed lives. His
01:37dedication, sincerity, and character lit a torch in the darkness. One that ignited the hearts of his
01:44companions, who then carried his light to the rest of the world. This transformation was nothing short
01:51of miraculous. In his work Al-Fisal, Imam Ibn Hazm, notes that the Arabs were historically fragmented.
01:59Thousands of tribes and clans who never submitted to any central authority. They lived lives marked by
02:05pride, enmity, injustice, ignorance, and lawlessness. Then came the prophet, peace be upon him,
02:13a man without wealth, armies, palaces, or political backing, not even supported by his own tribe at
02:20first. Yet, by the will of Allah, and through the prophet's unwavering message and leadership,
02:26Arabia was transformed. People from all walks of life began entering Islam and living by the teachings
02:33of the Quran. Even powerful tribal chiefs and kings, despite their riches and influence, chose to follow
02:40the prophet, peace be upon him, a humble orphan and shepherd, who could neither read nor write.
02:47Through his guidance, warring tribes became a united ummah. Hearts changed. Pride turned into humility,
02:56enmity into brotherhood, cruelty into compassion, ignorance into knowledge, and lawlessness into justice.
03:03As Ibn Hazm concluded, this legacy alone is enough to confirm that Muhammad, peace be upon him,
03:11was truly the messenger of Allah. Even if this transformation had been his only miracle,
03:17it would have been more than enough.
