Rugged terrain is no match for a first responder suited for flight.

00:00it's not a bird and it's not a plane this is first responder Jamie Walsh and recently
00:08he had the first successful test mission using a jet suit designed by innovation
00:13aeronautics company gravity industries British paramedics are hoping that this
00:17device will eventually help in search and rescue and first response missions
00:21in areas like this one which are mountainous and rugged in this test the
00:24pilot flew around 1.1 miles over the lake district in the UK but the most
00:29amazing thing is that Walsh only had six days of training prior to the flight
00:32revealing the ease in which most pilots can take to the skies gravity industries
00:37first began testing for this type of mission back in September but this
00:40newly crafted 3d printed model hosts improved specs from the previous one
00:44including more maneuverability as well as more powerful turbine engines here's
00:48what gravity industries founder and chief test pilot Richard Browning had to say
