A crucial development has emerged in the long-standing water dispute between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In a high-level meeting chaired by Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil, leaders from both states — including Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy — engaged in a constructive dialogue to resolve key issues.
Chandrababu Naidu, drawing from his past experience as the CM of the united Andhra Pradesh, emphasized cooperation and mutual benefit, while Telangana’s Revanth Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy put forth Telangana’s pressing water needs. The session ended on a positive note with consensus-driven decisions.
