00:06Week across central Lancashire and the Fattled Coast.
00:10First up in Preston, the family music festival Preston Live 2025 is on Saturday, July 26.
00:18Originally due to be a three-day event running from a Friday to Sunday, last month organisers
00:23revealed that they had to cut two of the days due to poor ticket sales.
00:26Nevertheless, Saturday's event is 100% going ahead as planned and promises to be an incredible
00:33day of live music, food and entertainment, say organisers.
00:38The Saturday line-up features Aston Merigold, The Claws, Top Loader, Tinchy Strider, The
00:44Cases, Ella Henderson, Blazin Squad, Jamie Gray and Tom Zanetti.
00:49Adult tickets for Saturday currently cost £48.60, concessions £32.40 and child tickets
00:57£16.20.
01:00In Chorley, it's the Chorley Flower Show 2025 between Friday, July 25th and Sunday, July 27th.
01:08Returning for its 10th anniversary, the event is set to captivate families, flower enthusiasts
01:13and gardening fanatics.
01:16The Chorley Flower Show has plenty to enjoy, including floor displays from award-winning
01:21exhibitors, spectacular show gardens and entertainment for all the family, including a children's
01:27zone with fairground rides and a vintage carousel, live music, a vintage classic car display, vintage
01:33dancing and a dog zone.
01:36There will also be expert gardening demonstrations, a variety of amateur competitions, community
01:41gardens to explore, food and drink and a variety of trade stands.
01:47Your Chorley Flower Show ticket even includes entry into the historic Astley Hall.
01:52Special guests include GLS star JB Gale on the Sunday and BBC Radio Lancashire's Sharon
01:57Hartley on the Friday.
02:00Early bird tickets for those aged over 16 are £15 for the day or £25 for three days.
02:06From July 21st and on the day at the gate, day tickets are £20 and three day tickets
02:13are £30.
02:15Over on the Farad Coast, Chicago is on at the Blackpool Winter Gardens Opera House between
02:20Monday, July 22nd and Saturday, July 26th.
02:23The sexiest musical ever, as described by Metro, comes to Blackpool for one week only, starring
02:30Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer and TV star Jeanette Munrara as Roxy Hart and
02:35West End and TV star Darren Day as Billy Flynn.
02:39There are shows at 7.30pm across the six states, including a matinee on the Saturday.
02:45Tickets start from £26.70.
02:47Also in Blackpool, the Blackpool Makers Market returns on Sunday, July 27th.
02:55The monthly event puts the spotlight on the finest artists and makers from Farad Coast.
03:00Expect stores selling art, posters, crafts, clothing, including vintage items, health and
03:06beauty and jewellery.
03:08Taking place at 16 to 20 Abington Street, Blackpool Makers Market is open between 10am and 5pm.
03:15It is, of course, free to walk around, but do be prepared to part ways with your cash when
03:20you see the delights on offer.
03:23Finally, a WIRE family festival called Wonderland returns to Cotton Paw Playing Fields in Poulton
03:28on Saturday, July 26th.
03:31Attendees can enjoy live performances from CBB stars Bluey and Bingo, dance along to their
03:37favourite songs with the Boogie Monsters Band, meet their favourite superheroes, watch out for
03:42Zeus the Roaming T-Rex, experience an animal roadshow and run and bounce for a 74 inflatable
03:48assault course.
03:50There will also be free face painting, selfie stations, food, drinks and a bar for adults
03:56too.
03:57Gates open at 10.45am with the festival running between 11am and 5pm.
04:03Tickets are on final release, costing £12.50 each.
