00:14Police say a thorough investigation is underway into the disappearance of Tengku Nizaruddin Zainuddin, also known as Ija Nizaruddin.
00:22According to Mwa District Police Chief ACP Raiz Muklis Azman Aziz, search and rescue operations have been ongoing.
00:31However, as of 5pm on Wednesday, no solid leads have been found.
00:37On the second day of the search, authorities deployed drones from the Fire and Rescue Department alongside the Johor Police's K9 Tracker Dock Unit, which had been activated earlier at the scene.
01:00A two-kilometre ground search was also carried out along riverbanks, villages and nearby jaytis.
01:07Statement have been taken from the victim's wife and sister, but so far only a pair of slippers and a cab have been recovered.
01:15The victim's mobile phone is still missing and checks show it has been switched off since the day of the incident.
