We’re asking people across Cardiff if they think the summer holidays are getting too expensive for families, with parents and grandparents having to fork out hundreds to keep the kids occupied for a full six weeks.

00:00Oh yes, we will, yes, indeed. And that's very expensive, to go something like bowling, which we used to take, you know, we take our children to, we've recently taken our children to a bounce thing, haven't we?
00:15Oh, definitely. It's always been difficult for me having a safer child anyway. But when it comes to holidays, I do have the support of my parents being a single parent. They take kids whenever they can. I'm quite fortunate that this year they're taking both my kids to France for two weeks. I get a little bit of time on my own.
00:41I think it's very expensive to just stay at home. We try and find things that are free, like the park or the beach. That's because we are mean.
