Speaking at a White House Faith Office luncheon on Monday, President Trump spoke about granting parents greater autonomy over their children's' education.

00:00And we're defending parents' rights, where the parents' rights have been taken away from them in schools.
00:07You look at some of these school boards, it's like they're brutal dictatorships, and we brought it all back.
00:13The parents have the control now.
00:14And last Monday, we effectively eliminated the infamous, as I said, Johnson Amendment.
00:20It's such a big deal, and various other amendments and things that really took away your free speech.
00:26That's what they've done.
00:26They've taken away free speech.
00:28I also want to recognize the incredible contribution of our great First Lady, Melania.
00:35And she says hello.
00:40And Melania did the Be Best initiative in supporting children in our foster care system.
00:47She visits a lot of children, a lot.
00:50Yesterday, we went to the game, the soccer game.
00:52I don't know if you saw it in the Netherlands.
00:54It was incredible.
00:54She's always thinking about the children that have a hard time in helping America's young people reach their fullest potential.
