00:00What do you want your baseball team to do?

00:04Yeah, so if you look back since 2018,

00:08they have not had a winning season in the second half.

00:10So I think the Craig Breslow trade deadline is really, really important

00:15because they have not had success.

00:18Alex Cora's a great first-half manager,

00:20but the only reason to be concerned is because they've had talent in the past

00:24and they have not had any success in the second half of the season.

00:29So I know Megha was talking about the trade deadline yesterday,

00:33and you guys were talking about the trade deadline from last year with Craig

00:37and how she doesn't have a lot of confidence in him.

00:39But I think this is a really important trade deadline for the Sox

00:44because I think they do have talent,

00:46and I think they could make a good postseason run.

00:50But Craig does need to add a good – I told you I think last week, Greg,

00:55I think they need a quality starting pitcher,

00:58and I think they need a quality bullpen arm.

01:00I think those two things would really get them some momentum going into the

01:05second half and make a nice postseason run.

01:08So those would be my two adds if I had to do it.

01:13Do they have to give up somebody like Jaron Durant to get a quality arm?

01:19No, they still have, despite them bringing up all of their minor leaguers this year,

01:29they brought up three.

01:30They still have like a top five, top ten minor league system.

01:35So they still can get those – they can still get a quality pitcher

01:40and a quality relief pitcher from their surplus of minor leaguers.

01:46And if you look at a lot of the trade deadlines over the past several years,

01:51no top 100 prospects were even traded.

01:54Now, the activity at the trade deadline hasn't been crazy,

01:57but I think the Red Sox could pull off a starting pitcher

01:59and also a bullpen arm without giving up anything.

02:04The only thing you need to do is just sit Yoshida –

02:07just not play Yoshida at DH as much as they are

02:11and rotate the outfielders into the DH.

02:13And I think that solves that problem.

02:15But, yeah, you can do it.

02:16You can do it pretty easily with just giving up your prospects.

02:20So that's how I would do it.

02:22Brett, so we've been talking about this.

02:24The name that got kind of thrown around because of Bradford

02:27was Joe Ryan with the Twins.

02:30So you could get a guy like that for just prospects.

02:36Yeah, yeah.

02:37So the reason why Joe Ryan is the popular name out there,

02:41and I have a couple other ones out there, but it's hard.

02:45So, yeah, you want a guy back with term, right?

02:49So you want a guy back.

02:50Joe Ryan has two years – after this year,

02:52he's got two years back at controllable cost.

02:54I'll throw out another one, Nate Evaldi.

02:56Nate Evaldi's got two years left, but he's higher price with –
