00:56Mohan Raj being pulled out of the vehicle
00:59while being unconscious has also surfaced.
01:02On your screens, you can see those visuals on the left
01:05and it is just so difficult to digest the fact
01:09that stunt artist Raju passed away
01:11while doing the car toppling sequence
01:13for Arya and Ranjit's film this morning.
01:17So, these are the visuals.
01:18On the right, you can see the stunt

01:22On the left, you can see what happened
01:25after the stunt went wrong.
01:28So, these are the visuals.
01:34This was when the stunt was being filmed for the movie
01:37and as you can see that the car went off the ramp
01:41and then toppled
01:42and after which the crew ran to save the stunt actor.
01:47So, this is how the stunt took place.
01:48This is the shooting going on for the stunt.
01:51The stunt actor was inside this SUV
01:54and after it took off from the ramp
01:57the car toppled, hit the surface hard

02:11This is the visual after the stunt went wrong
02:13the crew ran to save the stunt actor.
02:16In the visuals, you can see
02:18the crew retrieving the stunt actor
02:20out from the SUV.
02:24My colleague, Pramod Madhav
02:26is now joining us with more details on this.
02:29Pramod, help us understand
02:30what exactly happened
02:32after the stunt went wrong
02:34and also tell us
02:37what is the reaction from the director
02:41on this mishap that happened
02:42during shooting
02:43were there no safety gears
02:45was the safety not ensured
02:47while shooting the stunt?
02:51One thing we can see clearly over here
02:53is that the stunt director
02:55was definitely wearing helmet
02:57but we are not exactly able
03:00to see any kind of picture
03:01and that we can have caught
03:03in the camera
03:03for the time duration
03:04or such and so
03:05but especially what happened
03:06is that it is so far
03:07than this movie
03:08and he is actually going ahead
03:10and shooting for his movie
03:11and he is a very well known
03:13director in the state of Tamil Nadu
03:15and what happened is that
03:16yesterday
03:17it means that this issue
03:18occurred at Nagopatnam
03:20initially we were given information
03:21that the stunt director
03:22was in fact complained
03:23of chest pain
03:24and was taken into hospital
03:25where he unfortunately
03:26passed away in Mohandad
03:27but right now it is actor Vishal
03:29who is from a prominent actor
03:30who has jumped forward
03:31and confirmed the news
03:32that he had died
03:33because of a stunt accident
03:35and amidst this
03:36we also got this visual
03:37where he is actually driving
03:38an SUV
03:39and as he goes over a ramp
03:41and you can see
03:42that gas powered
03:43power has been given
03:45to the car
03:45to actually go over the ramp
03:47in high speed
03:47but unfortunately
03:48it crashed
03:49with a deep impact
03:50and after that
03:51Mohandad was completely unconscious
03:53like you could see
03:54all the visuals
03:55that the director
03:56and other people
03:56are trying to wake him up
03:58help but it actually cuts off
03:59but unfortunately
04:00we have been informed
04:01that Mohandad has died
04:03and now the visuals
04:04of the stunt
04:05presumably what Vishal
04:07has referred to
04:08has also surfaced
04:08in a once week
04:09Alright Pramod
04:11thank you for getting us
04:12those details
04:13so very unfortunate news
04:14coming to the fore
04:15from Tamil Nadu's
04:16Naga Pattinam
04:17where a movie shooting
04:19was going on
04:19in which a stunt
04:20was being performed
04:21by a stunt actor
04:22as you can see
04:22in the visuals
04:23the stunt actor
04:24was inside an SUV
04:26and the SUV toppled
04:28off the ramp
04:28and after which
04:29the crew ran
04:30to retrieve the stunt actor
04:31but the stunt actor
04:33unfortunately died
04:34in this stunt
04:36that went wrong
04:52and we're now getting
05:14some breaking news
05:14this is regarding
05:15the Air India plane crash
05:17now U.S. watchdog
05:18Federal Aviation Administration
05:22and Boeing
05:23vouch fuel lock safe
05:25the U.S. watchdog
05:26has said that
05:27the Dreamliner fuel switch
05:28is safe
05:29the mystery switch flip
05:31killed Air India engines
05:32this is as per the preliminary report
05:34and three seconds
05:36after takeoff
05:37the fuel switch is cut
05:39and that led to
05:40the biggest aviation tragedy
05:42and the biggest aviation safety mystery
05:44of all times
05:45so the U.S. watchdog
05:47the Federal Aviation Administration
05:49and the Boeing
05:50have now vouched
05:50that the fuel locks are safe
05:52in fact
05:52the Federal Aviation Administration
05:55has said that
05:55the Dreamliner fuel switch
05:57is safe
05:57and remember
05:58the mystery switch flip
06:00killed the Air India engines
06:02just three seconds
06:03after the takeoff
06:04the fuel switches were cut
06:06and this is
06:07as per the preliminary report
06:09of the probe panel
06:10in this particular matter
06:11my colleague Amit Bhadwaj
06:13is now joining us
06:13with more details
06:14on this
06:15Amit, U.S. watchdog
06:17and the Boeing
06:18has now claimed
06:19that the Dreamliner
06:20fuel switches are safe
06:21and it was reported
06:23in the preliminary report
06:24that it was
06:25because of the fuel switches
06:26that the fuel was
06:28the fuel supply
06:29was cut off
06:30to the engine
06:31that led to the tragedy
06:32Well Anjali
06:35the FAA
06:36Continued Airworthiness
06:38Notification
06:39the latest one rather
06:40you know
06:42is pointing out
06:43that there are no problems
06:44with the fuel cut off switches
06:47and it is
06:48the FAA notification
06:50is saying that
06:51as far as going to
06:52the final fuel cut off
06:53switches are concerned
06:54the switch design
06:56does not force
06:57unsafe conditions
06:58and in fact
06:59even if you go by
07:00the 2018
07:01Utification
07:03of Airworthiness
07:04for the Boeing
07:05737
07:07fuel cut off switches
07:08where the concerns
07:09were raised
07:10with the 787
07:12which is the
07:12Boeing Green Dynacraft
07:13which AI-17 was
07:15it was not
07:17mandatory
07:18you know
07:19notification
07:20that was issued
07:20rather
07:21something that was
07:22flagged by the
07:23SAA
07:24for the
07:24airline operators
07:25to be aware of
07:27however
07:27having said that
07:29you know
07:29the entire issue
07:31remains under
07:32investigation
07:32at this point
07:33in time
07:34what AAID
07:35will be proving
07:36henceforth
07:37is pretty clear
07:38you know
07:39the Aircraft
07:39Accident
07:40Investigation Bureau
07:41will be looking at
07:42three particular angles
07:43to be very specific
07:45number one
07:45whether there was
07:47any technical
07:48glitch with
07:49Boeing Green Liner
07:50or fuel cut off
07:51switches
07:51which led to
07:52this transition
07:53right after the
07:54take off
07:55you know
07:55immediately after
07:56the take off
07:56and remember
07:57this is not
07:58one
07:58fuel cut off
08:00switches
08:00which transition
08:02from run
08:02to cut off
08:03rather both of
08:04them at
08:04difference of
08:05one second
08:05and in all
08:07practical senses
08:08the second point
08:09is being ruled out
08:10that
08:10you know
08:12unintentionally
08:13the pilot
08:14could have
08:15actually
08:16transitioned them
08:17from run
08:18to cut off
08:18because that's
08:20not possible
08:21the way that
08:22metanism
08:22is developed
08:23and hence
08:24the manual angle
08:25will be also
08:25looked into it
08:26but the third
08:27point
08:28which we have
08:28been continuously
08:29pointing out
08:30at India today
08:31is that
08:31whether
08:32some other
08:33equipment failure
08:34led to this
08:36particular situation
08:37because even
08:37in the past
08:38we have seen
08:39that in such
08:40tragedies
08:41there are
08:41multiple factors
08:42which become
08:43the contributing
08:44factor
08:45eventually
08:46leading to
08:46the tragedy
08:47so all these
08:48angles
08:48will be looked
08:50into
08:50what we can
08:52certainly say
08:53that
08:53while the
08:55AAIB
08:55has not
08:56put any
08:57blame
08:58or any
08:59instruction
09:00on either
09:01Air India
09:01or Boeing
09:02at this
09:03point in time
09:04the investigations
09:05till the time
09:06investigations
09:07continue
09:07both of them
09:08will continue
09:09to be on the
09:10radar
09:10so while
09:12these reports
09:12will keep on
09:13coming from
09:14the international
09:15you know
09:16domain agencies
09:18the AAIB
09:19will continue
09:20to you know
09:21investigate the
09:23issue
09:23without being
09:24influenced
09:24with such
09:25airworthiness
09:26notifications
09:27but certainly
09:28these will be
09:29helpful for the
09:30experts who are
09:30dealing with
09:31this situation
09:31right now
09:32having said
09:33that
09:33the NTSB
09:34which is the
09:35US domain
09:37expert agency
09:38is also
09:39working on
09:40this particular
09:41investigation
09:42assisting the
09:43AAIB
09:43and in that
09:44particular team
09:45the accredited
09:46representative team
09:48of NTSB
09:49the NTSB
09:50themselves have
09:51roped in
09:51the GE
09:52which is the
09:53manufacturer
09:54of the engine
09:55of Boeing
09:56Greenliner
09:56Boeing itself
09:58is you know
09:59has been
10:00roped in
10:01by the NTSB
10:02so has been
10:03the FAA
10:04so all these
10:05technical issues
10:06will be certainly
10:06brought into
10:08the purview
10:09of the
10:10investigation
10:10by NTSB
10:11to in front
10:12of the AIIB
10:13but till the
10:13time this
10:14investigation is
10:15not over
10:15neither Air India
10:17nor Boeing
10:18is off
10:18the radar
10:19back to you
10:19all right
10:20Amit thank you
10:21so much for
10:21getting us all
10:21those details
10:22and for that
10:23context
10:23the probe into
10:26the Air India
10:27crash is
10:28escalating
10:29this comes
10:30after the
10:30first initial
10:31report was
10:31disclosed by
10:32the AAIB
10:33the pilot
10:34association
10:35has raised
10:35serious
10:36questions
10:36they claim
10:37the report
10:37shows a
10:38clear bias
10:39towards
10:39blaming
10:40pilot error
10:41the association
10:42rejects the
10:42claim that
10:43the pilot
10:43cut the
10:44fuel switches
10:44and says
10:45the investigation
10:46is being
10:46driven under
10:47the presumption
10:48of pilot
10:48guilt
10:49in fact
10:50they are
10:50now demanding
10:51full transparency
10:52and have also
10:53questioned
10:53the secrecy
10:54surrounding
10:55the probe
10:55the fuel
10:58control valves
10:59of the engine
11:01of this
11:01power fuel
11:02control valve
11:03that means
11:03the valve
11:04which controls
11:04the fuel
11:05from your fuel
11:06tank to that
11:07particular engine
11:08there are all
11:09different micro
11:09switches that are
11:10there which make
11:11contact when you
11:12move the fuel
11:13control switch
11:13from cutoff
11:14to on
11:15maybe these
11:16would have to be
11:17investigated in
11:17greater detail
11:18I am sure that
11:19the aircraft
11:20accident investigation
11:21bureau has
11:22all the necessary
11:23expertise
11:23as far as I am
11:24concerned I think
11:25it is extremely
11:27extremely remote
11:28that anyone
11:29during a process
11:30of takeoff
11:31takes his attention
11:32off the takeoff
11:33looks down
11:34finds the switch
11:35puts it off
11:37and then finds
11:39the other switch
11:39again puts it off
11:40and all within a
11:41period of one second
11:42in my opinion
11:43extremely unlikely
11:44and we'll now
11:46take you through
11:47the big takeaways
11:48of the preliminary
11:49report of the
11:50AI 171 crash
11:51report
11:52now the first
11:53big takeaway
11:54is that the fuel
11:55switches to both
11:56the engines
11:56turned off
11:57just seconds
11:58after the plane
11:59took off
12:00now both engines
12:01began decreasing
12:02from their
12:03takeoff values
12:04the third big
12:05takeaway is that
12:06neither of the
12:07pilots knew
12:07who turned off
12:08the fuel switches
12:09in fact there's a
12:10conversation also
12:10between the two
12:11pilots where one
12:12of the pilots
12:12is asking the
12:13other whether
12:14he switched it
12:14off to which
12:15he replies he
12:16didn't now
12:17both fuel
12:17switches turned
12:18on 10 seconds
12:19later aircraft
12:20emergency systems
12:22rat and APU
12:24also kicked in
12:25so these are the
12:26five big takeaways
12:27of the report
12:28the initial report
12:29that has come to
12:30the fore as far
12:31as the probe
12:32in the Air India
12:33crash is concerned
12:35there's no end
12:49to election
12:50commission and
12:51opposition
12:51tussle in the
12:52state of Bihar
12:53poll panel sources
12:54claim that a
12:55large number of
12:56individuals from
12:57Nepal, Bangladesh
12:58and Myanmar
12:59holding Indian
13:00documents like
13:01Aadhaar were found
13:02during ongoing
13:02special intensive
13:03revision of electoral
13:05roles in Bihar
13:06RJD leader and
13:07Bihar leader of
13:08opposition Tejas
13:08Fiyadav sparked
13:09Rao by dismissing
13:10poll panel sources
13:11claims calling
13:12sutras as
13:14mutra essentially
13:15saying that these
13:16sources are nothing
13:17but a waste
13:18Bihar leader of
13:19opposition also
13:20questioned credibility
13:21of media sources
13:22likening their
13:23claims to rumours
13:24about Islamabad,
13:25Karachi and Lahore
13:26being captured during
13:27India's Operation
13:28Sindhu.
13:29BJP and allies
13:30were quick enough
13:31to respond.
13:32Slamming the
13:33RJD leader,
13:34they stated that
13:34he's the
13:35Yuvraj of
13:35Jangalraj and
13:36that illegal
13:37voters are
13:38RJD's voter
13:39base.
13:40They also claimed
13:41that the
13:41opposition alliance
13:42only knows
13:43how to abuse.
13:43These are those
13:47sotras that
13:47Islamabad, Karachi,
13:49Lahore and
13:50Qabzhaar are
13:51doing this.
13:53We are
13:54talking to
13:54these sotras.
13:55And if there is
13:57something like that,
13:58then the last
13:59time in 2003
14:00the U.P.
14:00government
14:00was
14:01released in 2003.

16:56and we have some breaking news coming in
17:05karnataka minister priyan karge's aide arrested for drug trafficking
17:09priyan karge's aide caught selling drugs in maharashtra
17:13karge's aide had 120 bottles of banned narcotic syrup
17:17so that's the breaking news that's coming in karnataka minister priyan karge's aide has now been arrested for drug trafficking in maharashtra
17:26he was caught with 120 bottles of banned narcotic syrup
17:30my colleague sagai raj is now joining us with more details on this entire matter sagai over to you tell us more about it
17:37as you rightly pointed out congress leader and close aide of priyan karge and allamma prabhu patil in kalburgi
17:44who has been identified as also kalburgi south congress president linga rajuk karni has been arrested in maharashtra
17:53so what we get to learn is he was been arrested by kalyan police where he was nabbed for allegedly
17:59uh for possessing close to 120 banned bottles of food and syrup uh when he when he was been arrested
18:07and case has been registered under ndps act at kalyan police in maharashtra and police will continue the investigation on the thing
18:15right and also will the congress party take any action uh against uh this man who has been caught for drug trafficking
18:23now the uh the report has come now that uh he has been arrested so we need to wait and watch whether
18:30the congress will take any kind of stringent action against him because the affair was being registered
18:35uh last night and uh we got to know the information now so we are waiting for uh any kind of action from
18:42congress after these kind of media reports against their own leader also sagai how has uh karnataka
18:49mantri piang kharge reacted uh to this news so far he has not reacted as i told you earlier that uh this
18:56is the latest news that we are getting it's a breaking news so we need to uh take his reaction
19:01on the scene and definitely he will be disappointed and uh uh he will say that law will take his own course
19:07of action and uh whether it is congress leader of bjp uh definitely who our have been arrested in these
19:13kind of acts nobody will support him right uh sagai also the congress party's image will also be dented
19:20due to this news as uh the man who has been caught is a close aid of none other than a congress uh
19:25minister in karnataka priang kharge uh who's also the son of the congress party chief
19:32absolutely and even if you notice that opposition will try to take political mileage out of it they
19:36will slam karnataka congress party on the same because he has been identified as a close
19:42aid of priyank kharge as well as one of the emily slma prabhu patil in kalaburgi district and there
19:48are photos of him where he was seen with kharge family as well as the other leader and not only
19:54that he is also a south block uh south block congress president kalaburgi south block congress
20:02president in kalaburgi district all right sagai do stay with us we're being joined by bjp sashok
20:08gaura on this story uh mr gaura karnataka mantri priyank kharge's close aid has been arrested for
20:13drug trafficking he was caught with 120 bottles of banned narcotic syrup your reaction see this is
20:21what priyanka kharge's uh french circle is as well as his followers do we have been saying that in the
20:28in the in the suicide case of santosh where the contractor had written priyanka kharge's close
20:34head and his own peers name and he died and he all he died by trying uh by putting his head on the
20:42train track in in during that time also bjp protested and bjp asked for the justice for the person were
20:49deceased as well as a lot of corruption activities is taking place in kradl and as well as in the rural
20:55development department wherein all the priyanka kharge's close heads friends kids and kids are
21:01involved and that is what we have been saying and across all the platforms yet priyanka kharge reacts
21:07and says rss is that and bjp is that and bjp people leaders are that now priyanka kharge should
21:14answer to himself that what support he had given to this person who was a block congress person and
21:20who was selling the narcotics and if this is a level of congress what kind of a mindset congress
21:25party and peyanka kharge and malikarjun kharge also should be a questioned in this matter because
21:32without malikarjun kharge's ashirwada there cannot be nothing which can happen so that is why congress
21:39party per se the whole congress party is basically mindset itself is corrupt they are involved in
21:45illegal activities they are looting the people of karnataka and all other states and supplying
21:52drugs one of the most cheapest forms of spoiling the country's country's young youth and the future
22:00of the country and this is what the anchor kharge should immediately tweet out you we ask him to
22:06resign actually in fact rather than anything else because he has a very big mouth and he has he
22:11thinks that is a superstition of karnataka and that is why he reacts to every issue which is actually not
22:17his concerns also mr gara bjp has time and again spoken about zero tolerance towards drugs so what
22:22will be the strategy of the bjp now regarding this matter will there be a demand of wider investigation
22:28into the alleged drug nexus absolutely yes absolutely yes and we are very sure that like in the it's not
22:37just priyanka kharge who is involved here there are a lot of other people who are involved and might be
22:43from a lot of people from congress parties uh maharashtra kedar also so we are definitely going to
22:50formalize a strategy today and we are going to fight these people who are spoiling mike in my youth my
22:57country's youth
23:01mr gora so big claim that you've made is that uh such a crime uh drug trafficking and uh is not possible
23:09without uh the blessings of the high command uh of course this man was a close aide of priyank kharge
23:15and it is a known fact that priyank kharge is the son of the congress chief
23:22absolutely yes absolutely yes and without without aacc president mallika june kharge sashirwada to priyanka
23:28kharge he could not have become a minister and priya without priyanka kharge sashirwada this person
23:33who is dealing with the drugs cannot deal with the drugs so it is nexus is very very very very
23:38clear and priya mallika kharge himself says my boss is rahul gandhi so what is rahul gandhi's
23:43involvement in this that also should be questioned and rahul gandhi also should answer to this because
23:49mallika kharge time and again has said i am not the boss boss is rahul gandhi so that is that is that
23:54angle also should be probed all right ashok kora thank you for joining us on the broadcast and for
24:00your views on this breaking news coming to the floor from uh uh uh regarding garnataka mantri's aid who has
24:07been held for drug trafficking with that we're now shifting focus we are getting some more breaking

27:00While the ED has accessed 18 bank accounts related to Changur Baba, Probe has also revealed that he used code words to hide his real activities while talking to his aides.
27:10More on this in our next report.
27:12Project, Mitti Palatna, Kaja Lagana and Darshan.
27:32Innocuous sounding words were actually sinister code words used by Jamaluddin alias Changur Baba in his conversion racket.
27:42While project referred to women, Mitti Palatna meant religious conversion, Kaja Lagana meant manipulation and Didar referred to introducing targeted Hindu girls to Changur Baba.
28:00These words were used by Changur to communicate with his aides who used romantic traps and financial allurement to lure mainly unsuspecting young Hindu women and men.
28:12Promises of marriage, financial incentives, foreign travel, jobs and scholarships were used.
28:22A close aide of Changur Baba has exposed his nefarious plot and claimed that there was a nexus between him and notorious Rabbani gang which is into land grab and extortion.
28:52These details have emerged at a time when the enforcement directorate's lens is on the foreign funding received by Changur Baba.
29:03The government, the government, the government is on the other side of the government.
29:33Meanwhile, Changor and Nasreen continue to sing in custody,
29:45revealing foreign funds and detailing payments made to as many as thousand Muslim youths who helped trap Hindu girls.
29:53Probe is also focused on cash payments made to the conversion gang operatives in seven districts near the Indo-Nepal border.
30:00From the primary interrogation of Changor Baba and Nitu, alias Nasreen, a big conspiracy also revealed.
30:11As per sources, all these three, including Changor Baba, Nitu and Naveen, were trying to get connected with ISI.
30:20Before getting this ISI connection, all these three attended a secret meeting in Nepal with ISI operatives.
30:28Probe has also revealed a possible nexus with Pakistan's spy agency ISI.
30:36Changor Baba is learned to have travelled to Nepal recently to meet ISI operatives
30:41and offer his services to help Pakistan run its jihad ring in India.
30:47Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has lauded the action against Changor Baba.
30:51He has also raised a red flag, saying that attempts are being made to create a communal divide.

34:31These iconic words first heard in space from Rakesh Sharmai in 1984
34:36were once again echoed by our nation's pride, Shabhansha Shukla,
34:40during his farewell aboard the International Space Station.
34:43Here's a look at how the world is awaiting the return of the Axiom 4 crew to Earth.

35:56During his over two-week long stay, Shukla set new benchmarks in space research.
36:04From food diplomacy to science supremacy,
36:08Group Captain Shukla conducted breakthrough experiments on the ISS.
36:11Earlier in his interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi,
36:39Shukla Ghastovar, Gajar Ka Halwa.
36:42You have been given the Gajar Ka Halwa,
36:47have you been given it to your own friends?
36:52Yes, Mr. Madri Ji.

36:57such as Gajar Ka Halwa, Mungdala Ka Halwa and Amras.

37:17As Captain Shukas gets earthbound,
37:20he has crypted India's proudest chapter in human space flight.
37:25Today's country is looking from space.
37:31Today's country is looking from nidr.
37:34Today's country is looking from confident.
37:37Today's country is looking from ground.
37:40And because of all these occasions,
37:43I can say that today's country is looking from everywhere.
37:47Today's country is looking from everywhere.
37:51Shukas not just reached for the stars,
37:53but brought India closer to them.
37:56Bureau Report, India Today.
37:57India Today also spoke with the family of group captain Chubansha Shukla,
38:05the man who's made the nation proud on a global stage.
38:08Let's take a look at what they had to say.
38:09.
38:11How did you feel about the international space center here?
38:14It was a good thing.
38:15It was a good thing.
38:16It was about 15 days.
38:17It was about to start 2-3 days.
38:19I had a little bit of trouble with the people who were used to.
38:21I am very happy with the work of the work, I have a lot of work.
38:30I have to do this with the work.
38:33I have to do this with the work.
38:41He said that he enjoyed it very well.
38:44So, as you were in the International Space Centre,
38:47and you will be doing a puja,
38:49what are you doing in this week?
38:50Puja, we do it every day.
38:52We do it every day.
38:54We do it every day.
38:56We do it every day.
38:58We do it every day.
39:00We do it every day.
39:02We do it every day.
39:04And now shifting our focus to the state of Karnataka,
39:07where the CM change, Nataka, continues unabated.
39:10Now, few Congress MLAs have accused BJP of misusing agencies
39:14against Congress leaders.
39:15The BJP has hit back at Congress.
39:17Karnataka Congress MLA Vijayananda accused the BJP of misusing agencies
39:23like ED against the Congress leaders in the state.
39:25Karnataka Minister K.N. Rajana, meanwhile, reiterated
39:28that Sidramaya will complete full term of five years.
39:32He also said Sidramaya will never look at a national role
39:35as he does not understand Hindi.
39:37The BJP, meanwhile, slammed the Congress party
39:40and accused the party of indulging in horse trading.
39:43Union Minister Pralaj Joshi said
39:45that both Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister engaged in mutual trade
39:49and that Congress High Command had lost control over the state leadership in Karnataka.
39:54.
39:59Do you know that the government has had a national role?

44:30Thank you very much.
45:00The mecca of cricket, Lourdes, is set to witness an exciting fifth day between India and England.
45:17India need 135 runs to win the Lourdes test on the final day.
45:21But India is in a spot of bother with four wickets down, which will make this fifth and final day a nail-biter.
45:28Chasing a target of 193, the visitors lost four wickets in the last session of day four.
45:33Joffre Archer dismissed Ashaswee Jaiswal on a duck while Brydon Kars picked two wickets in Karun Nayar and the Indian captain Shubman Gill.
45:43Akash Deep, who came in as the night watchman, was cleaned up by Ben Stokes, which led to stumps on the fourth day.
45:49KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 33.
45:51Now, earlier, Washington Sundar led the Indian attack, picking up four wickets, as England were bundled out for 192 in their second innings.
46:00Jaspreet Bumrah and Mohamed Siraj picked up two wickets each.
46:03Joe Root was the highest scorer for the hosts with 40 runs.
46:07And my colleague Nikhil Nas is now joining us on the story.
46:11Nikhil, indeed a very exciting fifth day in Lourdes.
46:15India is eyeing 135 runs, whereas the England needs six wickets.
46:20So what should be the strategy of the Indian side to clinch victory?
46:24That's really interesting.
46:27I mean, we'll have to take a look at what England did.
46:30And I think the Indian team from there on needs to take a couple of tips.
46:34I think the English batters were very impatient.
46:38And I remember this pitch isn't a really easy pitch to bat on.
46:42This is, of course, the last day.
46:44And we started seeing variable bounce from day three onwards.
46:47And now it's been even two more days since then.
46:50We saw on day four the way the English team crumbled.
46:53And there's a big gap between what the teams manage in the first innings
46:57and what they are being able to score in the second innings,
47:00which tells you that the pitch has deteriorated over time.
47:04And the approach of the English batters was that
47:07probably they'll have a ball with their name on it.
47:09So it's best to be attacking.
47:11It's best to be aggressive and try and gather as many runs as you can
47:15and then put India under pressure.
47:16But that I don't think really worked out very well for them.
47:19Because 193 is a total that India would have fancied chasing down,
47:23even though, as I mentioned, the pitch isn't an easy one to bat on.
47:26Now, having said that, India haven't had the greatest of starts.
47:29They're struggling at 58 for four.
47:32The positive to look at that is that effectively they're 58 for three
47:36because one of the wickets that has fallen is that of the night watchman in Akash Teep.
47:40So they still have enough batting to come.
47:42Remember, they've played with three all-rounders as well.
47:45So if I was to give you an argument in England's favour,
47:47I think that is the pitch. It's going to be tricky.
47:49And the other argument that goes in favour of England
47:51is that pressure always makes batters do funny things,
47:55especially when it's the final inning.
47:56So those are things going in England's favour.
47:58I think what's going in India's favour is it's not a massive total they have to chase.
48:02They're already 58 that they've achieved.
48:05And 135 is what they'll be looking at.
48:07The first target has to be to bring the required total less than the three-figure mark,
48:12less than 100.
48:13And if they can do that without losing any wickets,
48:16I think India could be well on their course for a famous win.
48:19So I think this partnership that is going to start the day for India
48:22and KL Rahul and Rishap Pant, that's going to be very crucial.
48:25We saw it in the first innings as well.
48:27KL Rahul, the most equipped technically to be battling it out
48:31in these sort of circumstances and these conditions.
48:34So he's going to be the key as he was in the first innings.
48:37And Rishap Pant, despite having an injury,
48:38despite not being able to keep in this test match,
48:41he showed a lot of resolve before unluckily he was run out in the first inning.
48:45So I think these two batters will really set the tone for India.
48:49Absolutely, Nikhil.
48:50All eyes remain on the fifth exciting day at Lourdes.
48:53It remains to be seen who has the edge
48:55and who clinches victory among India and England.
48:58Well, with that, we're now shifting focus.
49:00U.S. President Donald Trump attended the FIFA Club World Cup award ceremony
49:06following Chelsea's 3-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the final.
49:11Trump stole the spotlight when, after handing over the award,
49:14he was expected to leave the stage and let the players celebrate.
49:17But instead, he stayed on and joined them in the celebration.
49:21I'll see you next time.
