Final update video on the '73 Porsche 911! Adam walks us through the process of replacing the rear latch panel. We were only tasked with repairing the rear section of the car—while we’re fully capable of doing a complete restoration, that wasn’t the goal for this project. We're happy to provide exactly what our client needs to get this classic ready for the next phase. All reference points now line up properly on the Celette bench, and we’re excited to see how the build comes together once it leaves our shop.

00:00Alright so we're all finished up on the 73 911. When the car came in the customer
00:04wasn't sure if suspension points and the pivotal points in the car have been
00:08moved at all from any previous wrecks. He thought it had been hit in the left rear
00:11at one point. So we put on the select bench and everything lined up really
00:14well. So we just repaired the rear here, new latch panel. They cut off the rear
00:19quarters here, tail light pockets. You can see that these were cut off. We removed
00:22the old latch panel, put in the new latch panel, welded the tail light pockets
00:27back into place and we are finished. The customer is going to take the car from
00:31here and do whatever he's going to do.
