00:00so what we done was start chopping everything off and in part one got the
00:05quarter off we got the rear end off the trunk floor the end panel got it all off
00:11got the frame rails off and then we got our new parts cleaned them all off and
00:17we've got one frame rail in and what we are going to do was get the second frame
00:22rail in and the caps so if you haven't watched part one and I recommend that
00:28go back and watch part one before I start watching this video because it'll give
00:31you more of an insight what stage we're at anyway this is the stage I lefties at
00:35we put the frame rail in and we riveted it all up and we had to do the other side
00:40and we had to put the caps on in the end so anyway let's get going right okay
00:45people that is the frame rail is in give all the rivets there seeing it in the
00:52time-lapse it's up here
00:58so what we're going to do now is to put the rear end plate on just this so this
01:15has to go in there as well so what we'll do is we'll take this mount off again I'm
01:21gonna sit that in and then I'm gonna drill the holes because the holes were here go
01:27through here but the drill holes in the bottom so we'll get ahead and do that
01:30now
02:00okay folks so I just had these rivets in here just lining her up they're not the
02:15ones that are going in there the ones that are going in there are countersunk I need
02:18this panel to be flat when it's all riveted on because the end panel is going to go
02:22onto it so
02:25what we're going to be putting into them is this countersunk so I'll go through there but now I need to
02:35countersink this and for that we have a special drill bit here it is here this drill bit is going to countersink that now we can see
02:46I could use a better view
02:53you can see it's sticking out still
03:07you can see when I rivet up that's got to be nice and flat
03:22as I great drill bit
03:37Okay, so it's all drilled.
04:05Let's have it all ready, cooking out the material that goes off and fills all these holes.
04:16So, what we'll do now is, lay this all off, clean it all off, put some glue on, get it on,
04:23rip it up, and then you have this frame rail.
04:29Oh well, let's get going.
04:36So, what I'm going to do here is, we're going to do what every panel is, we're going to
04:39clean it all off, get it down to the bare metal, and we're going to wipe it all down with a
04:43wax and grease remover, and make sure this panel is nice and clean, and the frame rail
04:48is nice and clean before we start applying the glue.
05:11Okay, so, you see me, I'll just put the point back in, so I know that this is in the exact
05:21right place.
05:23What we'll do is, we are going to get the rivet going, riveting these all together, but it's
05:31all sitting all nice and snug anyway.
05:33It's all really nice.
05:35So, let's get riveting.
05:39Okay, here we go.
05:43A bit of time.
05:45We're going to get the counter phone going forward.
06:15There we go.
06:16Okay.
06:17Okay.
06:18I'm going to get the counter phone going forward.
06:26Well, just go ahead, we can go ahead, we can get it on the ground.
06:31Turn it up.
06:32We're going to do the counter phone going forward.
06:34How the camera is on the edge of the camera?
06:37We're going to get the counter phone going forward.
06:42this one is finito there you go see all the countersunks nice and flush with the panel here
07:00the reason why you want that nice and flush with the end panel is going to sit on over there now
07:04but this one's all done it's weird uh they want you that's the old well here you don't want you to
07:19put another rivet in there you just move over here there's a certain measurement you can put it there
07:23so you just put glue there the same one in here that's the old river over there but you wanted
07:28you to put it over here anyway just follow instructions just put some glue over there
07:34what i'll do is before i paint i'll just put a bit of cedar over as well anyway that's that one done
07:43now this one has to be done let's get cracking
08:04so
08:13so
08:22so
08:30so
08:39so
08:48so
08:50so
08:58so
09:02okay
09:11so
09:13okay there you go two frame rails are in thank god they're not the easiest that's my
09:22first time doing it but it's not that they're not the easiest that's a lot involved anyway
09:28there's that one now as well all countersunk and these ones here they're not countersunk it's
09:36the structural structural countersunk so that's all in same as the fire side turn the light on
09:48same again looking nice so what we need to do now is i need to put a little panel in here
09:54here we're gonna do the same over here we're gonna do the same over here we're gonna do the same over here
09:57let me show you where it is
10:01this is it here
10:05let's see which one's which
10:06that's that side right so this little panel goes in here like so
10:19now there's a few four point dates holding that in
10:23and then what goes here is that piece there we have to get that on as well
10:29that one goes on the far side to show you it's gonna sit nice and snug in there like so
10:44i think next one i'll put in is a trunk floor i think but
10:51what i'm gonna do is i am just going to set up these two points again get it all nice make
10:58sure it's all sturdy and all that and then we put a trunk floor in there i'll probably leave these
11:03brackets on tonight while it all goes there with all sets so you two let's go okay so i'll just take
11:10this moment just to ask you if anyone has any questions or anything about what tools are using
11:15just ask me in the comments and i'll get back to you as soon as i can hope you're enjoying the video so
11:19far right trunk floor coming you right next is this one i'm just going to sit it in here see how it looks
11:30like let's see
11:33oh thank god it fits right looks well in there what we'll do is we'll go over here
11:51now all the procedures where's the trunk floor
11:57where's the body panel
12:04i'm blind it's here somewhere
12:16there it is hiding on me right so here we go trunk floor parts list next page it's gonna be we
12:28need a trunk floor we have that and we need 23 4.8 jesus they changed it i haven't done a trunk
12:35floor in a while but they used to be 6.5s now they changed it to 4.8 which is these ones
12:45so let me see what way do you do it yeah it's already out just telling me how to take it out
12:52right then so there you go 4.8 all on the back along the side
12:57and obviously on the rear panel when we have it on
12:59so jesus that's mad to change the 4.8 sorry 23 of them for the whole job now we have to keep
13:10let's say some here at once as well so say one two one two three four five six seven eight nine ten
13:18eleven twelve thirteen okay so we just kind of spread them out 23 same same 13
13:25in there i have one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven right we'll spread them in
13:33evenly anyway so let's mark this up it's already in there we get our auto writer all right where i'm
13:40gonna put the rivets and then we will drill our holes and get it in starting to come together
13:46starting to look like something again right let's go
14:01right that's the trunk floor in to be honest with you that's a piece of cake easy piece of cake i
14:20never say that why did i say that anyway right 4.8 one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven
14:30twelve twelve thirteen to be honest i didn't put that one in at the start but then the panel was
14:34kind of lifting a little bit so we just banged that one in but she's nice and snug in there now
14:42nice and clean
14:49there we go starting to come together on a bit of a rolls should we gone home but now i'm thinking
14:54well geez will i just bang that little bit in bang that little bits in there and will i put the end
14:58panel on anyway we'll keep going we'll see how far we can get what time is it let me see
15:05right 20 past six
15:10let's keep going right let's try and get this little piece in here let's try and get them pieces in here
15:17i won't record that he's down there because i'm going to be doing here it's going to be the same
15:21right see you in a minute right okay i got that piece in there it is
15:29she's in there she's all riveted 4.8
15:354.8 along there as well so she's in she's nice and snug now i'm going to do this side
15:41i'll do a time lapse on this side you didn't you see the other side so literally boom that's going to
15:46sit in here like that 4.8 along there when we get that on this is going to sit on here
15:56here this calls for 4.8 all along here up here nothing along here and that's asked for a 6.5
16:05bulb over there i'm going to do that and then i'm going home let that all cure and then we tomorrow
16:10we can do the end panel quarter so let's line them all up to get our holes and get it glued on let's go
16:22so like i said before it's just the same as every panel replacement what you do is you just clean
16:26it all off then get your um back to bare metal then get your aluminum aluminium jesus and then
16:32um what you do is just clean it all off with your agent your cleaning agent make sure everything is
16:36spotless before you apply your glue once you apply your glue get your rivets in get your rivet going
16:40going boom done okay let's see i'm out of here because it is ten past eight we got a lot done
16:56today now in fairness we've got the two frame rails done which are three pieces each three pieces each
17:00so that is six pieces then we had to get the lower glove piece on this one put on then we had to get
17:05the end cap put on these two came with the gloves we didn't do that but we had to put the end cap on
17:10as well we got the trunk floor in then we got the floor extension on this side in and then we got the
17:16floor extension on this side in which you're just seeing and we got the extension on the wheelhouse as
17:20well in so that's all clamped there we'll let that set for tonight but uh yeah i'm happy with it
17:27turned out well tomorrow we are gonna come in and we are going to get this on that shouldn't be too
17:35bad and then we have the quarter panel to go on here it is here so we'll get that on so waiting
17:43on parts on the rolls royce waiting on special glue to put this quarter on it's all painted and
17:48everything doors together front ends together rear bumpers together that's the rear bumper there
17:52just waiting on set a certain glue to get it we can't get it in canada so we're trying to figure it
17:56out anyway hope you are enjoying the video so far yeah any questions hit me up hit that subscribe
18:05button please if you haven't already anyway see you tomorrow right folks it is the next day
18:13morning time you can take this clamp off you'll see this won't budge
18:21should be clamp is stuck there we go the glue i'll have to clean that that's a nightmare only
18:29thing about glue look at all my clamps obviously when you clamp a panel glues oozing out of it there
18:38you go that's solid now
18:42so today like i said just there previously in the other clip we're gonna get this
18:48sit it on there close the tailgate make sure we still have a nice gap with this quarter panel
18:52get that all on and then we'll work on the quarter panel all right let's go where's that button boom
19:04let's go okay just a quick thing to talk about here to get this m panel on okay you're not going to be
19:12at it because it has to sit in behind here and you have to slide it down to get it in behind there and
19:16slide it down here and kind of turn it back in here so in the instructions in the hardware they give
19:23you like obviously they want your 6.5 uh bulb bits in there your flow forms but they give you bolts and
19:30nuts and the reason they give you them is because they want you to knock these out bang them with a
19:34hammer and knock them out get rid of them basically because it makes it easier for you to get your m panel
19:41in and that's why they supply you with these so when you have your m panel in what we'll do is
19:45we'll put this bolt through here and the nut and that's what they want you to do from procedure
19:52also something else i just point out if you remember my trunk floor
19:58uh it wanted 4.8 which is what we done all along here and then it also said 4.8 on your m panel here
20:06now that was the instructions for the trunk floor now we're doing instructions for the m panel and it's
20:10asking for 6.5 so it's weird it kind of contradicts itself sometimes
20:23so it wants 6.5s all along here see 6.5s 6.5s
20:30but on the trunk floor 4.8 sorry here we go it's probably make more sense this is the trunk floor
20:41procedure and it's asking for 4.8s along the back along the side and down on the m panel
20:49now here is the m panel and it's asking for 6.5 mil down and along so as i'm saying sometimes these
20:59procedures contradict themselves a little bit but i think the best one to do is just go whatever you
21:05think is better i'm gonna go with the 6.5s along here i think to be honest because that's the way
21:11it was previously you never had an issue with it so we knew that let's go
21:25so
21:31so
21:35so
21:39okay m panel sitting on there what i want to do right now is that's just sitting there
22:00i want to clean off all this area clean off my joints i already i already cut this usually
22:07comes up here with a big panel here i already just cut splices here what we'll do is i'll clean this
22:11all off clean that all off i want to sit it on clamp it up and then i want to close my tailgate
22:16i want to sit my door on and i want to make sure i have all my gaps nice if i have all my gaps nice
22:21then we'll start making the holes for our flow forms and our blind rivets same with this
22:27and then we'll get it going then we'll be finished uh oh
22:31yes roy let's go
23:01okay like i said previously it's just the same process just clean off all your panels get
23:08everything nice and clean one thing i will say is this old glue in the car when you're grinding it
23:12off make sure you have a vacuum or at least have a mask on it because that stuff is not good for you
23:17once i have it all cleaned off there you go to sit the panel on make sure it's all snug try the door
23:22on be closing the door down as well make sure the gap is all good then move on to the tailgate while
23:28do is make sure everything is all nice and tight close it down make sure the gaps are nice with the
23:33quarter onto the tailgate and try the bumper brackets on as well get them on and then we'll
23:39try the rear bumper on as well it's such a big job just want to make sure everything lines up nice with
23:43this uh so this will be all as a dry fit once i get everything sitting on nice then what we'll do is
23:48we'll make our holes for our rivets flow forms and uh take it back off just give it one more little
23:54clean off with the wax and grease remover or whatever cleaning agent you use and then we start
23:59applying the glue okay just tried on all my parts she's looking good over here the gap going up there
24:15it's pretty nice gap here pretty good consistent gap here if anything i can bring that down slight bit
24:28well it's not a big deal gap here is nice bumper sits nice there's a nice gap with the door then
24:39so what i'll do now is open the door with the tailgate we start making the holes for the core panel
24:47and the end panel and we'll take it all off clean it glue it get it on so coming together nicely
24:56let's go right folks so unfortunately this is where i'm going to leave this video again
25:02usually you hit about 26 27 minutes long and then i leave it for the next time um so we'll have a part
