00:00Hello it's Martin Dempster the Scotsman Golf Correspondent here coming to you from the
00:06Renaissance Club in East Lothian at the end of the third round in the Genesis
00:12Scottish Open. Another cracking day weather-wise here and a little bit tar
00:19rolled in early afternoon before clearing however with that set to return on
00:28Sunday morning and also Sunday evening potentially the tee times have been
00:33delayed for Sunday's final round. Action here will not get underway until 11.30 a.m.
00:40but with a 2 tee start being used play will finish a little bit earlier in
00:46schedule around 7 p.m. Leading going into that closing circuit two players one
00:55everyone knows Rory McIlroy the 2023 winner and the man who became just a sixth
01:03player to complete a career Grand Slam in golf early in the year he shot a 66 today
01:094 under 66 to move to 11 under par and he's sharing the lead with a little-known
01:16American Chris Gotterup he had led by two shots at the halfway stage battled to a
01:24level par 70 today and it's certainly going to be a big task for him in that final round
01:32on Sunday. Four players American duo Jake Knapp and Wyndham Clark and the English pair
01:42Matthew Fitzpatrick and Marco Penge are two shots off the base and not a great day
01:49really for the Scots Grand Forest shot 71 to set just outside the top 20 defending
01:57champion Bob McIntyre and Connor Syne meanwhile both shot 72 to sit on one over par
02:05it's been a great week so far and we're set for a cracking final day here and
