00:00Shane, we just heard there from Marco Rubio earlier this week, it looked like hopes were lost for a resolution in this conflict.
00:09But Trump is clearly frustrated. Moscow has been amping up its attacks. Has today, do you think, been a little bit more positive?
00:19Well, look, you know, I want to be positive and say, like, when you've got people around the table discussing that, you know, it's a step forward and, you know, closer to peace.
00:30But I kind of think this is just the starter before the main course. And until we really get like sort of Trump and Putin, you know, doing a shaky hands thing on, you know, the White House or something, I'm sort of pessimistic.
00:42And also, if you look at the comments that were made, like Rubio said that it was a frank and important discussion, while then his Russian counterpart said it was substantive and it was a frank exchange of views.
00:53So at least there's agreement on that it was frank. But I wouldn't class a frank discussion as cordial or moving forward.
01:01So I'd like to be positive, but I don't think I really am in this case.
01:08And there's a lot to be cleared and there's a lot of disagreement on what Russia wants.
01:12And also they've sent, you know, a couple of hundred drones through. So that doesn't really show that, you know, anything is going to stop in terms of the actual war, which is really what.
