00:00But, Gemma, I guess some good news out of this, if you want to look at it for Ukraine,
00:05the U.S. confirmed it's sending more weapons to Ukraine.
00:09Wow, this is a massive U-turn from the Trump administration.
00:14Yes, it is good news, but it's not without its controversy and sort of scandal and haphazardness, really.
00:22So there's been a big U-turn.
00:24And, obviously, the U.S. had pressed pause on sending weapons to Ukraine.
00:34Now, unfortunately, no one told Donald Trump that this was happening.
00:38So there's been a big public U-turn.
00:41And it looks at the moment like the White House doesn't know what's going on.
00:45It looks like Trump doesn't know what's going on in his own administration.
00:48So what happened is, on Monday, at a press conference, Trump said, we're going to send some more weapons.
00:54We have to.
00:55They have to be able to defend themselves.
00:57They're getting hit very hard.
00:59By Tuesday, and behind him, Defense Secretary Hegseth was nodding along.
01:04Now, by Tuesday, during a Cabinet meeting, Trump was asked whether he authorized the stopping,
01:10the temporary stopping of weapons to Ukraine.
01:13And he was visibly annoyed by this question.
01:16And he said, I don't know.
01:17Why don't you tell me?
01:19Now, sources from the White House have said he had no knowledge of Hegseth pausing the shipments to Ukraine.
01:27Now, this is the second time that Hegseth has done it.
01:29Mm-hmm.
01:30And he said, I don't know.
