00:06to see what they're doing is just incredible and what's kind of crazy to me is that they're

00:11breaking all these road records and it used to be that when the marlins didn't have a great

00:17season nelly every fifth day sandy would pitch and turn it out around and get a win for them

00:22sandy alcantara the trade deadline is coming up naturally there's a lot of names being discussed

00:27but it seems to me and look i don't know how the marlins are going to feel about this in a couple

00:32of weeks it seems to me they got to get him pitching right before they would move a player like

00:36this i mean i don't even i mean you watch them all the time and you see what's going on i can't

00:41pinpoint anything at this point and i've known this guy for like a decade yeah as far as the road

00:46record real quick that's phenomenal what they did i mean that's not easy to win 11 games on the road

00:51and even go out on the west coast and you win you sweep the giants is a very good team and the

00:55diamondbacks are right there in the playoff hunt so to do that and the young team i played on two

01:01of the best teams in baseball in 98 when we won 125 total games in 2001 when we won 116 and we never

01:10won i think in 98 we won nine and that was the max on the road in 2001 it was six so what they did was

01:16phenomenal as far as sandy i a lot of it is mechanical a lot of it is confidence a lot you know a lot of it

01:24is mechanical and when he starts getting hit the air is out of his sails his shoulders drop his

01:32confidence is gone you could easily see that in the first inning yesterday was one of the first times i

01:38actually watched that he was slowing up his motion with his off speed he was very convicted with the

01:45fastball but on the off speed it was almost like he was guiding it over the plate and that's something

01:50that i really haven't seen from him in the past uh but you're right he's a guy that you think here's

01:56a win every fifth day and he's all of a sudden be carter in a lot of sense yeah it's been a strange
