Queen Camilla visited Wellington Barn in Calne to mark 50 years of the Wiltshire Community Foundation, now renamed the Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation. The organisation funds local charities and projects across the region. Her Majesty enjoyed an ice cream to cool off during the warm summer visit. Report by Covellm. 00:00This is Gavin James.
00:57Hello.
00:58So what's happening?
00:59So we started off about four years ago and we started to follow up.
01:04Basically we were in a gossip session between the sisters but we made it online so everyone
01:12could get involved in the services.
01:14And then something that has been interesting to do, go over the lines and if you push on
01:21the tape hopefully it can't tell otherwise.
01:23But like Tadge said, it just gives a chance for the community to come in and those safe
01:27spaces where they can talk about things they probably wouldn't talk about.
01:31Would you like Mrs Eiffel?
01:32That would be lovely.
01:33Thank you so much.
01:50Welcome.
01:56I'm thrilled that the Wiltshire community has done so much for this one country and I'd
02:06just like to thank you all for all you've done to make it possible, so thank you very
02:11much indeed.
02:12Oh my goodness me, what have you got on offer today?
02:30All those ones.
02:34My time was such a hot day, and I have a passion for that sort of day.
02:42That was a big guy that took on a lecture.
02:46Thank you very much.
02:48There we are.
02:52Thank you, ma'am.
