00:00And in this new world, our alliances are, in my view, more important than ever.
00:08The strength and solidarity of countries that share the same values, the same aims, the
00:14same hope for the future.
00:17So just as we stood together in the last century to bring peace to Europe, and it was a real
00:25privilege, Emmanuel, to mark Armistice Day in France, walking with you the same route
00:33as Churchill and de Gaulle once walked.
00:36Thank you so much again for that invitation to be there at that very special moment.
00:43And today the UK is proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with France, leading the coalition
00:49of the willing to support Ukraine, as well, of course, as working together to call for
00:56a sustainable peace in the Middle East.
01:00And at home, we're working together for our shared security and prosperity, creating jobs
01:05and growth for our people, tackling irregular migration, strengthening our defences to protect
01:12Europe from any threats, growing our economies and collaborating on the technologies of the
01:18future and forging closer connections between our peoples with this cultural exchange.
