The Bank of England is inviting the public to help shape the next series of banknotes, including who should be featured.

Today we ask locals: Whose face would you like to see on a new banknote—and what makes them the right choice for you?

00:06I'll tell you what, that's never crossed my mind. I couldn't give you an answer on that.

00:14What kind of, what do you think makes people the right choice? Like,

00:17do you think it's fair to have like the king on the bank?

00:19I think it's usually people's like icons and heroes, I guess. I don't really think the monarchy

00:26anymore. Probably have like, yeah, most people might say like Winston Churchill, I guess, or

00:31someone like that. Well, I could tell you as an anti-monarchist, I would not want to see the

00:36king or Camilla or anyone else. Who would I want to see? Oh, that's a really good question.
