00:00There is an impasse here, which is that Hamas says it wants a full end to hostilities before it releases any more hostages.
00:09Israel saying it won't stop fighting till all the hostages are free. I mean, how do we get around this?
00:16I think if during this, you know, interim period of or what I call the prelude to a permanent ceasefire,
00:26I think it's important that the two month ceasefire will give ample time for both parties to mend their differences on the on the finality of the exchange of political prisoners and hostages.
00:40But in the meantime, for the first stage, like in the in the coming two months,
00:45I think the ceasefire has to have a certain kind of political exchange of prisoners and hostages.
00:51And there should be, you know, access to humanitarian aid to the Gazans that will break the ice and will create more conducive conditions towards more concessions on both parties, basically to accept the deal.
01:06I say that from a holistic perspective, because we understand the complexity of the situation in Gaza.
