00:00I think the Heat's friends to the north in Orlando may end up, you know, having better projections than Miami.
00:05So Miami had to act and do something.
00:08And so their action this offseason, at least the primary one, has been acquiring Norman Powell to add to, you know, sort of replace Jimmy Butler.
00:17I know there's no replacing Jimmy Butler.
00:19And honestly, on paper, you know, I think Gilbert South Florida fans of the Heat are happy here, but they just simply don't feel like the job is done.
00:27Do you think that the Heat needs to do more at this point?
00:30I know Powell had a nice year last year.
00:33More will need to be done, but it's a huge step in the right direction.
00:36All respect due to Kyle Anderson and Kevin Love, but they didn't really contribute that much to the team last year.
00:41So the Heat didn't really part ways with much in the way of what they needed this season.
00:45And they bring in Norman Powell, a guy who many thought should have been an all-star last season, average a shade under 22 points per game.
00:51Now he is entering a contract year.
00:53He is 32 years old.
00:54But that being said, if he and Tyler Hero can kind of find that balance and that chemistry in the backcourt, you're off to a good start.
01:01Obviously, the Heat liked what they saw with that frontcourt with Bam out of Bio and Kalil, where Andrew Wiggins is still there for now.
01:06And he could command some value on the market as well.
01:09And you have Davion Mitchell back in the fold to kind of add that defensive punch that you need on the perimeter as well.
01:14So steps in the right direction.
01:15Kaspers Yakutrionis is showing some flashes in the summer league early on.
01:19He's a guy who's going to be able to come on a little bit.
01:21And can you get Jaime Jaquez Jr. to play back as he did during that rookie season level that he showed two years ago?
01:27So a lot of pieces.
01:28Now it's on the air exposure to put together.
01:30But as we know from what he's shown us in the past, he's capable of doing that.
01:33And it's always going to be a free agent destination.
