00:00The Cubbies had the day off yesterday. Now on a road trip to Minneapolis to take on the Twins.
00:05Shota Iminaga gets the start today. Fort Great Council and Chicago, minus $134,
00:11that money line price in favor of the Cubs. Working back ever so slightly to the home team,
00:17total stands at nine. What do you like today in the Twin Cities?
00:21Yeah, it's kind of interesting too, because you take a look from a Cubs perspective,
00:24say, Shota Iminaga's back, and I think he's only had 16 innings pitched over the past 60 days with
00:28that IEL stint, and it hasn't been all that great for him. Not doing very well, not a lot of
00:32strikeouts, and by the way, you take a look at that lineup for the Minnesota Twins. Usually teams
00:36don't hit lefties all that well, and that's not the case. Carlos Correa is struggling, as well as
00:40Christian Vasquez, only 11 at-bats against left-handed pitching over the past month, but the rest of that
00:45lineup, Buxton, you take a look at Jeffers, and Castro, and France, and Bader, and Lee, and Lewis,
00:50all really good statistics against left-handed pitching, which is a great sign. Let's flip it
00:54over to the other side with Simeon Woods Richardson, one of those guys who's usually on my
00:58fade list. 26 out of 29 pitchers on the card today, with a 122 XFIP minus and a 4.62 ERA,
01:04and an XFIP of 4.99, which is in the danger territory, which you don't want to be against
01:09the Cubbies, with Hap, Tucker, Suzuki, PCA, Bush, and Kelly, all with really high ISOs and weighted
01:15on base percentages over the past month against right-handed pitching. 79-degree temperatures,
01:20you love to see that Minnesota, and a wind blowing out to right field. We should be getting runs.
01:24Both lineups look really good today against some pitchers you might be able to get to.
