00:10We are in Mangustau, the region at the crossroads of ancient trade and modern development.

00:16At the heart of it lies Akhtau, a city on the Caspian coast now recognized as the cultural capital of the Turkic world.

00:40For centuries, Mangustau was a route on the Silk Road connecting the east and the west from China to Persia and beyond.

00:48Today, the region is continuing a centrist-old tradition of east-west trade.

00:56As part of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor, it plays a vital role in the modern maritime Silk Road

01:02while also offering some of the most unique and untouched natural landscapes in Central Asia.

01:07Mangustau, in the beginning of its development, it was planned to be as a commercial.

01:19In terms of the development of tourism, we are entering one of the three perspectives of our country.

01:41Bajra is one of the region's key landmarks,

01:44widely known as the Kazakh Grand Canyon.

01:51Its dramatic cliffs are the remains of the ancient Tassus Ocean,
