It brought an inordinate fear to everyone especially to those who have a firm belief and creed to God as their credence and trust in the beginning could not be put into unstable; but, unfortunately, in the end almost all of them were stolen by somber fears due to that King’s decree!

00:00Frankly speaking, most of the time our society is filled with jealousy, possessiveness and envy as being reflected from the Old Testament's scroll of Daniel's chapter 6. This short but inspiring story of Daniel would narrate to us the essence and fundamental substance of courage to not give in.
00:18He is Daniel, one of the significant characters in the Bible and of the Christian faith and devotion he is popularly known as the brave man with a strong faith who was thrown into a den of lions.
00:29The movie about Daniel, based from a Hebrew Bible, as portrayed by Andrew Bongiorno and alternating Robert Miano as the Old Daniel, describing and portraying Daniel's character as, to quote, a slave who serves Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar.
00:45Daniel proves to be a trusty advisor and becomes one of Nebuchadnezzar's wise men. However, during the reign of Darius, he is forced to make a life or death decision to prove his faith in God, subjecting himself to the dangers of a lion's den.
00:59Daniel was a noble Jewish youth of Jerusalem taken into captivity by Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylon, serving the king and his successors with loyalty and ability until the time of the Persian conqueror Cyrus, all the while remaining true to the God of Israel.
01:12Frankly speaking, most of the time our society is filled with jealousy, possessiveness, and envy as being reflected from the Old Testament's scroll of Daniel's chapter 6.
01:23Because of Daniel's constancy and truthfulness in worshipping God, due to his firm belief and faithfulness to God, a group of politically motivated officials come up with an idea to trick the foreign king, the king Darius, as their manipulation reiterated that in this world no one could worship other gods.
01:39And as their trick succeeded King Darius forcefully signing a decree banning and prohibiting prayer and worshipping to any god aside for himself. It turned out to be a major law and if anyone could be spotted abandoning this act or decree a punishment to any accused is to being thrown into a den of lions.
01:56It brought an inordinate fear to everyone, especially to those who have a firm belief and creed to God as their credence and trust in the beginning could not be put into unstable.
02:09But unfortunately, in the end almost all of them were stolen by somber fears due to that king's decree.
02:17But still, Daniel was motivated to face this fear even from the start in which he knew the document had already been signed into law.
02:27In fact, there were times that the secretly offered prayers to God got down on his knees and praying three times a day by means of opening the window of his house in the upper chamber as he faced toward the Temple of Jerusalem.
02:38From the depths of the dead, fear my King.
02:45Until he was caught.
02:46Come near, you say.
02:49Daniel's courage is surely impressive, admirable and most of all a great motivation to all of us as we have to live all so courageously by the guidance of scriptures.
02:58Redeem my life.
03:00Daniel's devotion stood more infirm and as his conviction to pray to God became well founded and determined we are also encouraged by the scriptures to do the same.
03:12Praying and worshipping only to one God and none other else as we have submerged deeper at this context and essence of courage to not give in.
