00:18He suffered a spinal cord injury as a consequence from horse riding accident when he plunged from a horse while he was seizing part in an equestrian competition way back in 1995.
00:27But he didn't renounce his purpose and mission to help others and instead he set out farther aim and determined to conceptualize a humanitarian foundation as his spinal cord injury became the shaving mirror to go through this charitable medical work.
00:41The Christopher Reeve Foundation has been established and after his death his wife Dana was the one headed the managerial work as the foundation had to extend help for those persons with disabilities.
