00:00The Blue Jays have now been the team that you saw them a lot against the Yankees last week.
00:05They backed that up by beating up the Angels all weekend as well.
00:09And then they play the White Sox and the A's on the road this week heading into the All-Star break.
00:14They have now jumped up to, I think it's 19 for the World Series.
00:17I think they're kind of just there with the Yankees for the AL East.
00:20Do you believe that Toronto will keep this up beyond this streak that they're on?
00:24Well, it could be Michael Kay and say they're not a first-place team.
00:27But, hey, they are a first-place team.
00:29They're in first place.
00:30Listen, I don't think anybody in the American League is all that great.
00:35I think definitely your top two, maybe your top three teams are all in the National League.
00:39Listen, I have a ticket on the Blue Jays to win the East.
00:41But as Cam will tell you, by the way, I always have a ticket on the Blue Jays to win the American League East
00:45because they're always that team that the roster looks great.
00:48The pitching staff looks like it's nice and deep, but they never perform.
00:51Mike, maybe this is the year they do perform, right?
00:54And they do take it on here.
00:55The Yankees are all watered down.
00:56Tampa Bay is going to play, what, 900 games in a row on the road?
00:59Coming up after the break, right?
01:00Because their homeschoolers, whatever you want to call that schedule in the first half,
01:04was heavy for them playing in the Tampa Bay area.
01:07All right?
01:07So they're in trouble here.
01:08I don't think Boston's going to stick around.
01:10Baltimore's playing better now, but they're done.
01:11So this might be the Blue Jays' year.
01:14And I was ready to tear that ticket up.
01:16Six weeks coming out of this ain't happening.
01:18Jays aren't winning.
01:19And now they look like the better team, not the best team, the better team.
01:22I still think the best team in the American League is Detroit.
01:24And they may be pretty far ahead of everybody else.
01:27They're not perfect either.
01:29You know, they could use another starter, another hitter there.
01:31But, yeah, Toronto may be that team.
01:33Maybe this is that year.
01:35And we know they tried for Otani.
01:37They tried for Soto.
01:38So they have money.
01:39You know, there's a big name out there coming up in three weeks here at the deadline.
01:43They'll be in the mix for it.
01:45You know, Boston's only two and a half games back in the Yankees now in the wild card as well.
01:49So Boston's got themselves back in the race.
01:52Before we go, George, quickly, I thought Davey Martinez wrote his ticket out of town when he started playing,
01:57when he said the coaches had nothing to do with how bad they were playing a few weeks ago.
02:00And Rizzo probably snuck up before him, and that's why he's out.
02:04I thought the same thing, right?
02:05When he started saying, you know, it's not the coach's fault, not us.
02:09You know, I'm like, uh-oh.
02:09There's a guy who doesn't want to be there anymore.
02:12Although, I'll tell you, when I heard that a manager was fired yesterday,
02:14I assumed it was Snicker of Atlanta after they got swept by Baltimore.
02:18I thought he might be the guy who's on his way out as well here.
02:21Yeah.
02:21He could be next, George.
02:24He ain't too far behind.
02:26Again, swept at home by the Orioles.
02:28That was a tough look for the Braves this weekend.
02:31They've had a tough look all year.
