00:00We'll start in Los Angeles where the Dodgers have the White Sox in town for a few days
00:05and they got to work early and often against them. Six to one, a win last night. The highlight for
00:11them, another member hitting the 30 mark here before the All-Star break. We know that Raleigh
00:17has, we know that Judge has, and now Shohei Ohtani as well, number 30 on Sportsnet LA.
00:23Wow. How about that? Great, great job. Welcome home for them. And suddenly, you know, the
00:39interesting thing is, Cam, they have now, it was tight for the first like two and a half
00:44months of the season in that division. Like all those teams, you know, the Giants, the
00:48Padres, they were all kind of hanging around. And now you look up as you hit the fourth
00:53of July this week. And the Dodgers have an eight game lead on the Padres, a nine game
00:58lead on the Giants, 10 and a half on the Diamondbacks. And you know what they're doing, Cam? They're
01:02doing this. Bye. See you. See you later. Bye bye. And another thing is, I was worried
01:07at one point that wins total because it was like 96 and a half or whatever. Do the math.
01:11It's right there. Like me, because I know Gabe smashed it. That's his team. So I was thinking,
01:16wow, every time they lose, it's a real big thing. But that's the thing. The Diamondbacks can't
01:20get it done. They've got major injuries. The Giants, sure. They're not in the Dodgers
01:24league in the Padres. Yeah, whatever. That's the whole thing. And Colorado, it's not even
01:28a baseball team. But I did take them last night at plus two and a half, Carver. And that
01:32cashed. Rocky. Big thanks to Hunter Goodman in the ninth inning. Yes. I enjoyed that. Yeah.
01:39The plus one and a half. Pointless runs are my friend, Carver. The good man came through
01:46for you last night. Elsewhere last night, the Marlins. How hot are the Marlins right now?
01:53They come off an undefeated West Coast trip. They were. They won six games. They were riding
01:58a seven-game win streak into opening a series at home with Minnesota. And they are at it
02:03again. Great pitching. And our boy, who we love on Coast to Coast, Kyle Stowers, getting
02:10involved FanDuel Sportsnet. There's a fly ball in the air. Right field and deep. Walters
02:15going back. Out of the warning track. Locking up and it's gone. One to the good for the Marlins
02:21here. And the second they break the ice, it's won nothing. How about the fish, Cam? Eight
02:27in a row? I mean, come on now. They're up to, they've even passed or they tied now. Yeah,
02:34they did pass and they passed the Braves in the NL East too with this little hot streak
02:39that they've been on. What is going on with the Braves? Like that, they got to be one
02:42of the biggest disappointments in baseball. But as for the fish, these guys never used
02:46to be able to score. All of a sudden, we're talking like almost double digit win streaks
02:50with these guys. Carver, I should have been on top of it. I, I love to play losers. And
02:54the fish used to be like number three on my list after like the Rockies and getting crazy
02:58numbers. But man, I'm shocked. You got to be shocked with these guys right now. Like
03:02it's anybody but them. And they're going to have, as we'll discuss later, another opportunity
03:08tonight. Uh, because that, that Woods Richardson is going for the twins this evening, uh, against
03:14Miami and he, he stinks, uh, that Woods Richardson. So they got a chance to maybe get themselves
03:20to nine in a row. And the weird part is, is I mentioned to you, this to you earlier,
03:25the pirates have now won six in a row after they won last night, they won this afternoon.
03:30Like two of the worst teams in baseball have the longest streaks right now. The pirates and
03:34the Marlins are the teams doing all the winning. You don't see very much. Yeah. No, you don't
03:39lovable losers. Lovable losers are making everybody money. If you're a pirates fan and
03:44a, and Joe Ranieri's fish, it's good to be Joe Ranieri hanging with the Marlins, hanging
03:49with Stanley C Panther. Yeah. Just all winning in Florida Carver. That's the way it goes, but
03:55I can't, I'm actually shocked. Like both of those teams with a streak like that, that's baseball.
