Transkrip
00:00I'll see you next time.
00:30I'll see you next time.
01:00Who knows what's in store.
01:01Blaise Baker and Lewis Rollo exiting pit lane there.
01:04They're going to have to start at the back of the grid.
01:07Perhaps left it late.
01:08Maybe they gambled on wets and then saw it was a dry race and then they had to go back on slicks.
01:13Who knows?
01:14But we were just dished up quite a super sport race.
01:18I won't give it away the results if you've not seen it.
01:21What's coming up here?
01:2230-point lead for Brad Ray in the championship.
01:25Seven wins out of the first eight races.
01:28Can he extend that gap here?
01:30You would think this would be a much tougher test.
01:33Despite the fact that the number 28 starts from pole position again.
01:37The reigning champion, Kyle Ride, starts from second with the home hero, Skinner, third.
01:42Brooks heads road two ahead of Storm Stacey with Scott Redding returning to the second row.
01:47James, you've just been out on the grid.
01:49We could just see there how quickly it dries.
01:52There's a fair gust of wind still.
01:54What are we expecting?
01:55A dry race.
01:56It's completely dry.
01:57Complete dry conditions for tyres.
02:00So slicks all round.
02:01I think any of the guys who sat in front pit lane would have probably gambled a little bit.
02:06When you're further back on the grid, you can afford to gamble and maybe nick a result when you wouldn't normally.
02:11I get that.
02:12I get the idea.
02:13But actually, this is going to be full dry.
02:15And maybe it'll be a little bit careful over the kerbs first lap.
02:18Let somebody else take a lot of kerbs instead of you and see what happens.
02:21But it's dry.
02:22Two warm-up laps as ever here at Knock Hill on this 1.2 mile circuit.
02:26Hence why there are 30 laps.
02:28No other race circuit on our calendar with a race as long as this.
02:32They'll be in for a 20-lap sprint tomorrow morning and then another 30-lap feature race.
02:36Can anyone get their claws stuck into Brad Ray?
02:39Because so far, no one's been able to really get close to him.
02:42And not at all.
02:44And I think he'll be the man to beat here as well.
02:46I think there's just settled enough conditions for him to go.
02:49So, Steve Rogers is ready.
02:51The riders make their way onto the grid.
02:53They're ready upstairs.
02:54They're ready for the lights to go out here at Knock Hill.
02:57It's round four of the championship.
03:05The ninth race coming up.
03:06The return of Scott Redding.
03:08We send Glenn Irwin our best wishes.
03:10Hope you're back soon.
03:11Who wins this one?
03:12Does Brad extend his championship lead?
03:14Or is there an upset?
03:15The cards, the reigning champ, second, the home hero, third.
03:31Eyes on the lights here at Knock Hill.
03:33And away we go.
03:34Good start from Kyle Ryan and from Rory Skinner all the way from the lights.
03:37But it's a short run down to Dufferstip.
03:39Brad Ray does not get the start he wants.
03:40It's P1 for Kyle Ryde, sporting the number one.
03:44Brad Ray slots into second.
03:45Rory's going to third.
03:47And Scott Redding up into fourth place.
03:49A really good start from him.
03:49He's up ahead of Storm Stacey.
03:51Oh, that's Christian Liddin, I think.
03:53Yeah, it is.
03:53That's Christian.
03:55And he's not getting back on.
03:56You're not allowed in the races.
03:58Former race winner around this circuit.
04:00Remember, those curbs might still be a bit slippery from the rain earlier on.
04:05But it's Kyle Ryde then on the nitrous competitions.
04:07OMG Yamaha that has the lead early on.
04:10Yeah, if you look at Clark's, nobody was taking a lot of curb there on the change of direction.
04:13That's quite wise, I think.
04:15You'd let somebody else do it first.
04:16Don't want to get caught out.
04:17If there's any damp patches held on that paint.
04:19Into Taylor's hairpin for the first time.
04:21And now climbing uphill over the lumps and bumps on the start finish straight.
04:25What a great start from Kyle Ryde.
04:27He leads from Brad Ray.
04:28Yeah, got a good launch.
04:29That's what did it for him.
04:30And it is really quite important to get to turn one first.
04:32If you can, you're not killed because you're straight into this section.
04:35So it's a right, a left and a right.
04:37And you can find yourself losing at least half a second in half a lap.
04:41Rory Skinner is there in third.
04:43Number 11 on the Cheshire Mouldings to Cathy.
04:45Scott Redding up behind him.
04:47There's Tommy Bridewell.
04:48He's made up for a spot.
04:50He's just trying to chase up behind Josh Brooks.
04:54Then it's Andy Irwin Lee Jackson.
04:55Richard Kerr also worth mentioning.
04:57The Rocket BMW rider is up to 11th on this first lap as they break now into the hairpin.
05:03Yeah, really bumping as you initially hit the brakes there.
05:07Right, well up the inside of Brooks.
05:08Yep.
05:09That's P7 now for the 2023 champion.
05:16Into turn one.
05:17Storm Stacey there, number 79.
05:19Just in fifth place ahead of Nesbitt.
05:22Yeah, in point mood on the grid like it was this actually.
05:25Yeah, when is he not?
05:26Nah, he certainly is.
05:27He's fired up, isn't he?
05:28This weekend at Knock Hill.
05:29He's been fast in the wet and in the dryers.
05:31They now head through the chicane.
05:33I was looking at Storm's bike.
05:34He uses a lot of back brake and they've had to...
05:36Oh, hang on.
05:38He had some good drive through the chicane there.
05:40And he sits up Kyle Ride and goes through to take the lead.
05:42Yeah, clean move that.
05:44Can Kyle attack back into the hairpin?
05:47Slightly defensive on the approach.
05:49Brad Ray leaving it very, very late to break.
05:51He manages to pull that up brilliantly.
05:53Yeah, I thought once he did that little bump then
05:55and got the rear lift in, he might run a little bit wide, but not.
05:58Haslam in a bitter bother early on in this race.
06:00He's down to 14.
06:01Rory Skinner over the line.
06:03Faster slap of the race for Skinner on the Cheshire Maldives.
06:05Ducati there, number 11 in third place.
06:08He closes in, of course, the two Yamahas up ahead.
06:10I've just done battle and a lunge there from Kyle Ride.
06:13He will run slightly wide, but will he hold it?
06:15Yes, he will.
06:15Nice.
06:16Yeah, did you see Brad Ray just setting up to re-pass him if he had her unwind?
06:21It was just, that was going to be, it was just going to square that off, but it didn't work.
06:25And this keeps Rory Skinner interested.
06:28Yes, it does.
06:28In third place.
06:29He's now going to use the power of that Cheshire Maldives Ducati to try and inch a bit closer
06:33here to the Yamahas on the approach to Taylor's hairpin once more.
06:36Yeah, still not using any kerb.
06:38You'll see that gradually they probably will.
06:40They'll start to trust it a little bit.
06:42Let's have a look.
06:43Yeah, a little bit.
06:44They are now.
06:44They weren't for the first couple of laps.
06:46Lap record hold there is Rory Skinner from 2022 on the Kawasaki.
06:49There's Scott Redding doing very well at the early stages of this one.
06:53I feel a little bit sorry for Scott.
06:55He's picked a right meeting to, I mean, he didn't get a lot of choice.
06:58It was through, obviously, Glenn getting injured at Snetton,
07:00but actually big ass to come here.
07:03It's a small, intense circuit you've got to attack,
07:06and that's a different kind of riding than he's been doing,
07:08and then the weather.
07:09Yeah, well, that's the brilliance of BSB.
07:11They're all quite quirky circuits.
07:13Yeah, they are, but in different ways.
07:14Yeah, this particularly.
07:15There was a bit of a twitch there for Scott Redding.
07:17He's now falling into the clutches of Storm Stacey on the Batham's BMW.
07:21Out front, it's Kyle Ride, number one, on the Nitrous Competitions OMG.
07:25Yamaha ahead of Raceways, Yamaha Ride, a championship leader, Ray.
07:28Skinner, again, just looks like he's slightly closer.
07:32Remember, long race this.
07:33Physical, 30 laps.
07:35This will be proper test.
07:37Over the line, again, the fastest lap of the race from Skinner in third,
07:40at 47.677.
07:43Yeah, that's about half a second outside the lap record,
07:46and that's, I would have thought, understandable,
07:48if not because they don't trust the kerbs just yet,
07:52but the wind had met that much difference, I think.
07:54Just in the background there, you can see Reading and 79 Stacey,
07:58then Tommy Brightwell's been getting busy the last couple of laps.
08:01He's in sixth place.
08:02He's moved up ahead of Charlie Nesbitt.
08:08Around his locks corner, this fast left-hander on the approach now through the hairpin,
08:12and Rory Skinner has got the inside line,
08:14and Brad Ray knew he was coming.
08:16Yeah, he did give him a little bit of room there on the turning.
08:19So it's a change for second spot.
08:22Kyle Ryd looking for his first win of the season, can you believe?
08:26The reigning champion, but doing a solid job so far.
08:30Dropping now into Duffer's dip.
08:32They flip left through Leslie's, right again now into McIntyre's.
08:37It's in the background there.
08:39It looks like Scott Redding is walking into this as well.
08:41His fastest lap.
08:43This is the overtake.
08:44Yeah, good move from Rory.
08:48You would think that when somebody comes up the inside of there,
08:51you want them to run a little bit wide,
08:52then you can tuck it back up the inside, but good move.
08:56So, Can Redding in fourth drag Storm Stacey along to the party,
08:59and that would be some party out front.
09:02It's still ride from Skinner, from Ray.
09:04And this is as good as we've seen Kyle.
09:06Yes, it is.
09:07Yeah, so far this year.
09:10Kyle's quite happy if he's got the pace to sit out front,
09:12even if he's got company.
09:13And he's quite happy running his own lines.
09:1747.6, though.
09:18Another fastest lap of the race for Skinner in seconds.
09:22Here's your top three.
09:24Small gap back then to Scott Redding.
09:26It's a 48 flat from Redding.
09:28Three foot slow.
09:29This is such an easy circuit to make a mistake on.
09:33A small mistake that just costs you a tenth here and a tenth there.
09:36Yeah, that times can yo-yo a bit, can't they?
09:38Yeah, they can, yeah.
09:38Oh, slide from the rear end there of Scott Redding on his Hager PBM Ducati.
09:46As they now break hard down into the hairpin.
09:51Scott, of course, oh, and he's wide down into the hairpin.
09:54And that allows Storm Stacey through.
09:56Now, can Storm break free of first?
10:00Scott is a shake of the head from Redding as he crosses the line.
10:04It's interesting now to see how Storm gets on.
10:06Can he close the gap to the three ahead?
10:09If we get a chance then, and we see Storm Stacey, just look how much rear brake he uses.
10:20He wears a set of pads out every single race.
10:23With a standard set-up on the back of that BMW, the team said,
10:26it just cuts the rear brake.
10:27He uses that much of it.
10:28A lot of these riders use a little bit of rear brake for sort of stopping wheeling, tightening the line, but not much.
10:34He uses a lot of it going in.
10:36Yeah, and if he was on a 2025 BMW, he'd be in trouble because he'd have to stick with what the BMW has on it.
10:42But he's got a 24, which means they can kind of configure it how they want.
10:45And they've got a completely different rear brake set up to anyone else on the grid.
10:49A front brake off a 500 Honda.
10:51That's the disc on the back of his, and then the calipers off, I think, a GSX-R 1000 Suzuki.
11:00Yeah, it's a bit, sir.
11:02That looks big enough, that'll do.
11:03Yeah, stick it on.
11:05Over the chicane, through the kerbs there for Kyle Rydie leads.
11:09Yeah, they're trusting the kerbs a little bit now.
11:12They seem to be right.
11:13You can never tell where they kept the painted sections.
11:15Just don't absorb the water as much as the tarmac, so you've got to be a little bit careful.
11:19Scott Redding's bike not playing ball with him at the moment.
11:22Another twitch there, just on the exit of Clark's at Turn 7.
11:26That could just be him just getting a bit eager with things, you know, just being a little bit aggressive.
11:31Perhaps because he's being used to traction control or not?
11:35Yeah, maybe.
11:35Electronics.
11:36It is different electronic kind of regulations in quite a big way, so yeah, it will take a little bit of getting used to it.
11:43It'll be easier this way for him than it would be somebody going up and having to get the best out of the full electronics at World Superback, I would think.
11:50But yeah, still there's a sort of crossover period, yeah.
11:53There's nothing to split on lap times.
11:55The top eight.
11:56Charlie Nesbitt and Josh Brooks have just put in their fastest laps.
11:59They're currently in seventh and eighth place behind Tommy Bridewell.
12:05Leading trio go past.
12:06There's Stacey in four.
12:08And Scott Redding as Rory Skinner thinking about the move.
12:12Yeah, yeah.
12:13He's going through and he sits up Kyle Slater.
12:15He holds his line wonderfully.
12:18Yeah, Kyle just saw enough of Rory to give him the room he needed there.
12:22Trying to get back past Rory on cutback and I don't think he's going to have the legs, but he's going to lunge up the inside.
12:28No.
12:28Into turn one.
12:29Rory Skinner here will have the home crowd off their seats.
12:33Victorious here last year for Taz Racing with BMW.
12:36Now switched to the Ducati and he's been in fine form of late.
12:41Yeah, well, Brad said on the grid, he says, you attack or you are attacked.
12:46That's exactly what's going on at the front now.
12:48How difficult is this to do, to hold that line with that move?
12:52Yeah, you've got to aim for the inside a little bit.
12:54You've got to get Pashimane on the inside and then just hope you can get it stopped and all that.
12:58It's just a good move, that.
12:59Really good.
13:00So, Rory Skinner, it is that Leeds, looking for his first win of the 2025 season.
13:06And Kyle Ryde and Brad Ray in the background.
13:10Quite a group gathering now.
13:12Storm's facing number 79.
13:14Scott Redding, Tommy Bridewell's laughing well.
13:16Still Mesbit and Brooks there in seventh and eighth.
13:22You would have to think that Rory's thinking he can have a bit of a push and try and get away.
13:27That's what he's going to try and do.
13:28Notoriously speaking, Yamaha not always had the punch that the Ducati has had.
13:40I think he's a little bit better this year than it has been.
13:43We've seen it here in the past where the Ducati can gain so much down that run front there.
13:47Oh, that's from a long way back there for Kyle Ryde and Rory Skinner says, no, you don't, closes the door.
13:53Yeah.
13:53And they did see him and they did close the door.
13:58Over the line then to start lap 14 of 30.
14:00Rory Skinner on the Cheshire Mouldings Ducati leads.
14:06We did say at Donington, we thought it might take maybe up until Notkill before Rory started knocking on the door.
14:11He's done it a lot quicker than we expected.
14:14He has, yeah, and we expected him, if he was going to go quick anyway, for it to be Donington and then Notkill.
14:21He knows his place so well.
14:22And again, Donington will be a place where suits him, his riding style and the bike.
14:28But I think it's more that he and the team have been learning how to run and get the best out of that Ducati.
14:32And they're still learning.
14:33And again, sideways there out of turn seven for Scott Reddy.
14:37Number four on the Hager PBM Ducati.
14:40There's a move from Josh Brooks, who we know comes on strong late on in races.
14:46Maintains good tyre life.
14:48So number 25 on the Dow Racing Honda is up a spot into seventh.
14:54Part of this picture, but in the top ten, Andy Irwin, ninth, Lee Jackson, tenth.
14:59Then it's Rodgers, Aslan Cook.
15:01Danny Kent's woes continue.
15:03He's 14th and then it's McPhee.
15:08Meanwhile, out front, Skinner holding his own from Bryde and Bray.
15:12This is the battle for fourth.
15:15Yeah, just half distance now.
15:17And if you sit at the front, this is a long, long 30 laps.
15:22Well, you heard Scott mention a reference arm pump.
15:26Yeah.
15:26And there is no rest here at all.
15:28Not at all.
15:29No, on these bikes, there's nothing.
15:31If you're on the lower power bikes, yes, you can come out of this hairpin here, Taylor's hairpin,
15:34and have a little bit of a rest, relax your grip on the bars a little bit.
15:38You can't relax over this, though, can you?
15:39Nothing.
15:39With these, this kind of power on a superbike, you're not relaxing at all.
15:44Yeah, it's all action here at Knock Hill.
15:48A good drone shot there.
15:50And actually, there's a lot of change of direction where you need a little bit of strength.
15:55And actually, our colleague, Danny Buchan, said he thought he'd been as good as he has around it.
16:02He's won a few races.
16:03He said it was because he was kind of strong and could move the bike from one side to the other accurately.
16:08And there's three times a lap you've got to do that here.
16:12Bradley Ray, a bit of a dress rehearsal into Taylor's hairpin, turn nine here at Knock Hill.
16:19We've just passed half-race distance.
16:22Scott Redding goes through on Storm Stacey, number four on the Hager PBM Ducati.
16:26Is Storm running into some tire life issues halfway through this one.
16:30And Brooks, likewise, thinking about a move on Bridewell into Duffer's Ditt.
16:33If you get a chance, I just saw it.
16:35Is that rain?
16:35Did I just see a few spots of rain?
16:37I don't know.
16:38Now, remember, this is a dry race.
16:39If it starts to really chuck it down, this would be stopped.
16:42As we see a replay of the move there from Scott Redding.
16:45Yeah, they would stop this if it rained.
16:46Declared a dry race, like you said.
16:49Difficult to tell.
16:50I didn't see any drops.
16:52Just saw maybe a...
16:53We've had some of that misty rain, haven't we, in the skies over the last few hours.
16:57Yeah, just haven't been settled at all.
16:58And Kyle Ryd has decided now is the time to go.
17:01Remember, he's gone way too far.
17:03Really, really wide there.
17:04It's unlike Kyle.
17:06He's that normally pretty accurate.
17:09So over the line, a bit of respite for Rory Skinner.
17:13Do you know, I was just going to say, I think, before that happened,
17:15I think Rory's doing just enough to make it not that easy
17:18for Ryd or Ray to do anything with him here.
17:23You can see there.
17:25The team's on the top left corner.
17:28Taz racing.
17:29Hoping for glory once more here.
17:31And not kill.
17:33He's three lap time-wise.
17:37Just slightly slower than Scott Redding on that last lap,
17:40but that chasing Packer too far behind now to have an impact on this.
17:44Wicked bump that, you know, it's just when you hit the brakes as well,
17:50you're transferring all the weight from the rear because you've got the throttle on to the front.
17:55That's Brooks.
17:56He's gone through on Tommy Bridewell and almost nudged his way through on Storm Stacey as well.
18:01Thanks to a flamboyant wide line turning in from Storm.
18:05Kyle Ryd looking aggressive there, right on the tail of Brad Ray, who makes his move on Rory Skinner and shoves him wide and Kyle Ryd comes through as well.
18:15Yep, reasonably harsh, that.
18:18Quite a cheeky one, that, from Brad Ray.
18:19It was a cheeky one, yeah, yeah, that's a good way of putting it.
18:21But I suppose with a circuit, the nature of this, some of your moves have got to be a bit cheeky.
18:27I think mostly, yeah.
18:28I think it's a difficult circuit to make a clean move, especially if you're not doing it at the airpin.
18:32That is by far and away the favourite overtaking point, this point here into Taylor's.
18:37And even that's not so easy because there's a bump's going in to get under somebody, you've got to run it wide around the left-hander, and that makes it harder to put the brakes on.
18:46Yeah.
18:46There was a door open.
18:47It was, it was, but I'm sure that Rory's thinking, right, that's how you want to play.
18:56Revenge.
18:57We're on lap 20 of 30.
18:58Now, Brad Ray here is...
19:00Looks like he's having to go check it out.
19:01And we've seen this story a few times already in 2025.
19:06Yep.
19:07He watches, he sees what people have got.
19:09And he's just lit up sector one with a purple sector.
19:12This is what Brad Ray does.
19:13This is what he does, yep.
19:15And this is why he stands out from the rest so far this season.
19:19Scott Reddy doing a decent job.
19:20He is.
19:20He's in fourth there, breaking away now from the interests of Stacey, Bridewell and Brooks.
19:27Charlie Nesbitt's still in eighth.
19:29Lee Jackson's now up to ninth ahead of Andy Irwin.
19:32Not close.
19:33Between Bridewell and Brooks and Bridewell and Twitchy on exit.
19:36Over the line at 47.6.
19:38And the fastest lap of the race for Brad Ray on the raceway's Yamaha.
19:42Yeah, I will.
19:43Just when he sort of passed where he wanted a guest.
19:45You know, it was a cheeky move, but he got it done.
19:49And now, quickie slap.
19:51This battle continues between two of the most experienced riders in British Superbikes.
19:58Tommy Bridewell there, number 46 and 25 on the Dow Racing.
20:02Blue and red Honda.
20:05Josh Brooks.
20:06And another fastest first sector from Bradley Ray.
20:13So impressive what he's doing this year.
20:15Yeah, and the way he's doing it.
20:17So impressive.
20:18I mean, he was asked big questions at the start of this race.
20:20Rory's going to look relatively comfortable.
20:22And since Brad's gone through, they've got no answer.
20:25Just what I said, I thought that Rory was doing just enough to make it difficult, but not sure.
20:33That 22 of 30 here at Not Kill.
20:37Brad Ray, third place, moved up to first.
20:40And he's laid the hammer down.
20:42He's almost a second up on Kyle Ryde now.
20:45Yeah, not his fastest or the quickest first sector, but definitely quicker than anybody else is doing now.
20:52He's just been squeaky clean everywhere as well, James.
20:54Yeah.
20:54Every circuit we've gone to, he's hitting his markers perfectly.
20:57There is some traffic up ahead here just for him to deal with.
21:00Yeah, that might have been one of the things that made him think, I've got to get going here.
21:04You want to get to him first, really, if you can.
21:08So, might not hit them off this lap, but certainly before the end of the race.
21:14There is fourth place, Reading, ahead of Stacey, Frydwell, Brooks and Charlie Nesbitt, who's on course for another top eight.
21:26Yeah, there's people who will get lapped in this race that won't get lapped at any other circuit because it's such a short circuit.
21:33It accentuates the difference in lap time.
21:35And it doesn't have to be that much to add up over a race length of 30 laps to mean you're going to get lapped.
21:40Leading this battle for fourth place is Scott Reading, who, if he's tired now, wait until the end of next weekend, of course, from here at Knock Hill.
21:49He moves over to Donington Park, where we've got a bumper weekend of action on TNT Sports for you.
21:54It is the World Superbike round at Donington next weekend, as well as the Grand Prix of Germany, as MotoGP heads to Saxonry.
22:03Yep, and then again for Brad Ray at the front, just a tenth of a second quicker than right behind him, but it's enough, it's only going one way.
22:13It is at the moment, it is at the moment, and Rory Skinner just struggling, actually, to find a way through on car ride as well.
22:22It's the scrap for fifth.
22:26Stacey, number 79, the Bathans, Adrian, BMW, ahead of Tommy and Josh.
22:34I mean, in fact, we can't see it, but Skinner is struggling to stop with.
22:38Ride about a second off him now.
22:46Another fastest lap of the race for guess who?
22:49Bradley Ray, a 47.5.
22:54Not the fastest laps we've ever seen are at, Knock Hill.
22:57I think for these conditions, it's good.
22:59They don't need to be.
23:00No.
23:00I think they're not ideal conditions now.
23:03The winner's making it so that it's not going to be possible to do those lap record times.
23:10Well, it seems, James, even when they try and ruffle Brad Ray's feathers, he still comes out swinging and on top.
23:16Exactly.
23:16He's just a cut above the rest at the moment.
23:18Very impressive.
23:20And it's times like this, James, where, of course, we want to see close racing, battles for championship,
23:25but every now and again, you just have to take your hat off and say, Chapeau.
23:30There's Tommy Bridewell, then.
23:31Slides up the inside of Bernd Storm.
23:33It was close.
23:34Yeah, it was.
23:36Between, yeah, Storm and Brooks.
23:41Yeah, it's one of them.
23:42You know, you want to see close racing all the time,
23:44but also we want to see somebody top of the game and doing what Brad's doing.
23:50You've got to be impressed with that.
23:52Here is Brad Ray, number 28 on the raceway's Yamaha.
23:59Kyle Ride, won't be too disappointed with P2, you know.
24:03Some rotten luck here at Not Kill this time last year.
24:06Yeah, and Kyle's never disappointed with anything.
24:10You know, if he gets a finish, he's normally kind of, he says, that's what all I could do.
24:14You know, he is a solid rider.
24:16But at some point, if he's going to defend his championship, he's going to have to compete Brad Ray.
24:21Yeah.
24:21And you can't see that happening any time so soon.
24:24No, and there isn't really a weak circuit that we get to either for Brad.
24:29Oh, the Yamaha.
24:30No.
24:30The Yamaha is a really balanced bike.
24:32It doesn't work perfectly everywhere, but it works well everywhere.
24:36It doesn't really have a weak circuit.
24:38Tomorrow, of course, we do have two races still to come, and who knows what's going to happen with the weather,
24:44and that might throw a spanner in the works.
24:46Brad Ray will start from pole ahead of Moorish Skinner with Ride second.
24:50Bridewell heading row two.
24:53The good news, of course, for all of the British superbike riders trying to chase down Brad Ray is that...
24:58Is it in it?
24:58In the next round, we're going to Brad Ray's home race.
25:01I was just going to say, is it in it?
25:08Yes, so on the graphics there, we didn't see it ready, so I'm guessing it starts.
25:18Yes.
25:18Yes.
25:18So third row, which, not ideal.
25:22Still time for that to change, but late in this race, it doesn't look like you're going to be toasting your fastest lap.
25:27I don't think so.
25:28This is Bridewell and Brooks, just for fifth place.
25:33Oh, a bit of a moment there for Tommy.
25:35Yeah, there was.
25:38Tommy, of course, victorious this time last year in the first race, and not kill.
25:44Yeah, he's not just struggling.
25:46He's just not had the best run early season.
25:49Remember, it's a different rear tyre, a different feel to it.
25:52It's giving more grip and performance to some.
25:54Here comes...
25:56Oh, let's have a look.
25:58Yeah, that's the typical Taylor's there.
26:00It's been cut back.
26:01And actually, Brooks lost down there, overall.
26:05It's to be said, though, for the Dow Racing Team and Josh Brooks, they're chipping away at it.
26:09Yeah.
26:10As a unit.
26:10That 29 of 30, not long to go for Brad Ray to pick up yet another victory ahead of Kyle Ryde, with Skinner potentially on the podium to give the fans something to shout about.
26:27This fight here is for fifth.
26:30I think a few lonely laps up ahead of them.
26:34On the Hager PBF Ducati is Scott Redding.
26:36I don't think bad effort for Scott, not at all.
26:47Final lap begins.
26:50We thought we might have a race on early in this one.
26:52Rory Skinner got a fraud car right behind him.
26:56We did have a race on early, but just once Brad Ray decided to check out, we didn't.
27:03You punch me, and I'll punch you harder.
27:06Just commanding at the moment.
27:10Tom McBride, well, looks like he's set here for fifth place, but out front, it's domination in British Superbikes at the moment for the 2022 champion.
27:19He was victorious here when we visited, when he came to take the title in 2022.
27:26Quick look back, see his job done.
27:29Yeah.
27:29Seven out of eight, it was.
27:31Seven out of eight was great.
27:32Well, what about this?
27:33Eight out of nine is just fine.
27:35Brad Ray takes glory.
27:37It is win number eight of the 2025 season.
27:44Kyle Wright takes second.
27:45Rory Skinner third.
27:46Further back here, fight for 11th spot between Fraser Rogers and Danny Kent.
27:51It goes the way of Fraser.
27:57But they have no answer.
27:58Disappointing result that for Leon Haslam as he crosses the line in 13th.
28:02Well, he'll know he's in a race, that's for sure, and he had to work for it a bit more than he did at Snetterton, but it's still the same outcome.
28:14Yeah, yeah, the manner of, like we said before, pretty ominous, that it was at will.
28:23Celebrations here for the Raceways team and Steve Rogers, there's smiles around the Hager PBM camp and rightly so.
28:29Fourth place on his return to the British Superlite paddock for scoring Alan Gardner.
28:36It's texting someone the results of that one as their man.
28:41Kyle Wright finished in seconds.
28:44Cheshire Maldives, the guy, would be pleased with that.
28:47Should be.
28:51Yeah, Philip Neal will be over the moon with that.
28:55Not seeing him so far this season.
28:58And, you know, great to see that team getting a little bit of success.
29:01Not just Rory, we've talked about Rory a lot and how he deserves it.
29:05He had a bad run the last couple of years, but actually the TAS team have been supporting this championship for a long, long time and they deserve some results.
29:12Yeah, they've had some bad luck, haven't they, over the years.
29:14Absolutely.
29:15So that's great.
29:16Rory Skinner taking his third podium of the season.
29:20And he's going to be moving into contention for third overall in the standings as well.
29:28Seems happy enough with that.
29:29Kyle Wright, as he has a quick chat there to his crew chief, Shannon Etheridge.
29:37But dominance once more for Bradley Ray.
29:42Oh, the job, mate.
29:47It's becoming a habit.
29:55Awkward conditions at the start.
29:57Big cuddle from his dad, Kevin.
29:59Yeah, I mean, I think the track was completely dry, the tarmac, but just they have to be a little bit careful with the kerbs.
30:06The paint tends to hold any water a little bit longer, but actually by mid-race they were using all the kerbs they need to do.
30:12I think it was a win that held ultimate lap times down a little bit.
30:17But, yeah, Brad, no issues there whatsoever.
30:20Didn't seem to miss one apex, did we?
30:22Well, shaky seemed like he enjoyed that one, and for good reason as well.
30:25It's another win then for Bradley Ray.
30:26And, by the way, that is seven on the bounce for Brad.
30:31Ahead of Kyle Wright and Rory Skinner on the podium again here at home.
30:34Scott Redding on his return was fourth ahead of Tommy Bridewell with Brooke sixth.
30:38Storm Stacey in seventh.
30:40Nesbitt eighth.
30:40Lee Jackson climbed to ninth in the end, getting the better of Andy Irwin.
30:47Some riders that will be disappointed with their displays there.
30:51Fraser Rogers will be happy with 11.
30:53Danny Kent and Leon has them, though, 12th and 13th with their pair.
30:57Cook 14th.
30:58McPhee taking the final point in 15th.
31:04Now, for the championship standings, it was 13th.
31:07Of course, the smaller gaps between first and second.
31:11It stretches to 32.
31:12Leon Haslam third.
31:13Rory Skinner moves himself up to fourth ahead of Tommy Bridewell in the championship.
31:17Josh Brooks up to sixth ahead of the absent Glenn Irwin.
31:24And further down the order there.
31:25Crash on the first lap for Christian Hiddin.
31:27Unfortunately, it means he drops to 11th.
31:29One place ahead of his teammate, Max Cook.
31:32Lee Jackson, 13th overall ahead of John McPhee, Andy Irwin and Fraser Rogers.
31:36We will hear from your race winner.
31:42You know you did me wrong.
31:46Just one more cup of coffee before I go.
31:49I know I better stop and cut the show.
31:53I'll leave you all the memories and go.
31:56I'm gonna go.
31:57Two hours conversation.
31:58Two hours conversation.
31:59Two hours conversation.
32:01Two hours conversation.
32:03Two hours conversation.
32:04Three hours conversation.
32:05Three hours conversation.
