00:00Cuban people joined together on Saturday to commemorate the 214th anniversary of Venezuela's
00:05declaration of independence. The commemorative activities began in the city of Havana with
00:10more offerings before the heroes Simon Bolivar and José Martí. The event was attended by the
00:17Venezuelan ambassador Orlando Maneiro and the president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship
00:22with the peoples Fernando González. The Venezuelan diplomat highlighted the historical significance
00:28of July 5th of 1811, the date on which John Venezuelans reaffirmed the sovereignty of their country
00:35against the colonial troops of the Spanish Empire.
