00:50She was my protector. That's what's insane because there was nothing but love.

00:55You know, again, being signed to Jay-Z, her husband, she being my biggest inspiration.

01:00She came to my first show in New York at The Box.

01:04So I was actually genuinely upset because that's my big sister protector.

01:10She took it upon herself to really look after me and I still see her to this day.

01:15And she's always been so, so nice and proud and checking in on my family and friends that I've had since childhood, remembering their names.

01:23But Rita says the attacks toward herself didn't even bother her the most.

01:27What did was the public bashing toward her family.

01:30What was and is real is when I feel like my family are being affected.

01:36That's what's real. That's what bothers me.

01:39So any headline you can think of, it always trickles down to my parents because they are my parents.

01:45And I think that when you read something in the headline, you see a famous person.

01:49I don't think people realise like, oh gosh, she's got a mum.

01:54That mum's got a mum.

01:56You know, it's like a trickle effect and psychologically that does a lot to a person.
