00:00Yes, ma'am.
00:01Thanks, Tammy.
00:02A White House official told our colleagues that the Trump administration has paused certain
00:05weapons shipments to Ukraine.
00:07What was the State Department's role in making this decision to pause these weapons shipments?
00:10And are you concerned about the advantage it gives to the Russians?
00:13Well, traditionally, of course, I mean, our wheelhouse here is diplomacy.
00:19We don't make decisions about the shipping of weapons or the managing of weaponry anymore.
00:26We have the Department of Defense – I would refer you to them when it comes to this kind
00:30of a decision.
00:32At the same time, we've got a few things I can say to you regarding this.
00:39It remains, as you might imagine, worth repeating, a priority of President Trump to bring the Russia-Ukraine
00:43war to an end through a durable negotiated settlement, starting with an immediate ceasefire.
00:51And of course, just repeating, referring you to the Department of Defense for more information
00:55regarding – that situation regarding weapons.
00:58Anna Kelly, a White House spokesperson, also has noted, this decision was made to put America's
01:04interests first following a DOD review of our nation's military support and assistance
01:11to other countries around the globe.
01:14The strength of the United States Armed Forces remains unquestioned.
01:18Just ask Iran.
01:20Also, from a statement by Eldridge Colby from the 2nd, which was yesterday, at the DOD, that
01:28the Department of Defense, quote, continues to provide the President with robust options
01:33to continue military aid to Ukraine.
01:35At the same time, the Department is rigorously examining and adapting its approach to achieving
01:41this objective, while also preserving U.S. forces' readiness for administration's defense
01:47priorities.
01:48Can I quickly ask, on GHF, the State Department announced last week that you had approved $30
01:54million.
01:55Has any of that money been disbursed yet?
01:57And if so, how much?
01:59It has been fully approved.
02:01It has not been disbursed.
02:03There is a process, as you all might imagine, in the building regarding the disbursal of any
02:07funds.
02:08But when that happens, I will let you guys will be the first ones to know.
