00:00Tyke, let me put this to you.
00:02If you're a band, you're an artist,
00:05and you're going to say things that you know are provocative,
00:09and then you're going to stand by them,
00:13shouldn't it just be, well, too bad if you don't like the consequences?
00:16They said it, and they suck to it,
00:18and they just have to wear what comes their way.
00:21I'm sure they will accept the consequences.
00:24I mean, if I have a sense of Bob Villain,
00:26and I have a decent sense of kneecap because they're from my own country,
00:29and I think they're incredible artists,
00:31they will take the consequences completely.
00:34They're anti-imperialist, anti-racist acts,
00:37and I know Bob Villain has already come out today
00:38and made a statement about the fact that it means more to him
00:41to be standing up and doing the right thing,
00:44and I think history will vindicate him.
00:45I think history will look back in this period, as I say,
00:48and they talk about this story being centred at a moment where,
00:52and supposedly this is to make Jewish people feel safer.
00:56Now, I am at rallies with Jewish people.
00:58I speak to Jewish people all the time.
01:00Jewish people are some of the strongest voices
01:01in the pro-Palestinian movement, as everyone knows.
01:04So to, again, conflate Judaism and Zionism,
01:08it's the oldest trick in the book from the Zionist perspective.
01:11But again, we're not buying it.
01:12Nobody's buying it.
01:12I don't for a moment feel like,
01:15I know many fans of kneecap, for instance, who are Jewish.
01:17They don't feel unsafe by what kneecap are doing.
01:20And even if it was a sense that we have to make Jewish people feel more safe,
01:24of course, I would support that whatsoever.
01:26I don't believe it's a rule of having me to do it.
01:32I don't believe it's a rule of being brought to you.
01:44I don't believe it's a rule of being brought to you yet.
