00:00Of course, the Oklahoma City Thunder, they don't really have much to do.
00:04Their team is pretty well locked up.
00:06They've got lots of future assets.
00:08They just gave SGA tons of money.
00:10Sam Presti is now the smartest man in basketball.
00:13Here he is on his style on how he built the Thunder.
00:17To me, there's kind of three ways in the league.
00:22You can assemble teams.
00:24You can modify, inherit, and modify a team, or you can build a team.
00:33So I think there's three kind of modes, you know, build, modify, assemble.
00:40How you do that or the way in which you do that, I think, is very contextual.
00:47For us, building is probably our best path here.
00:53And so because of that, we don't have a lot of time to determine, well, which way should we go?
01:01So the paradox of choice is not really in our vantage point.
01:10So I think that helps us.
01:13We kind of know what our circle of confidence is, and we try to really lean into that.
01:19I am honestly, I almost dozed off right there.
01:24I almost, like, I was this guy.
01:27I felt one of my eyes closing.
01:28I was like, Sam's a genius, I know.
01:31But, geez, give us a rest.
01:33And finally for you for the NBA, for now, until more news comes out, Mike Brown will have a second meeting with the Knicks.
01:43He has emerged as a strong candidate.
01:45He's going to get the job, right?
01:47Like, I think this is all a waste of time.
01:49Mike Brown's probably going to be the next head coach of the Knicks, you would think.
01:54So he just coached the Kings, right?
01:57And remember, they ran him out of there.
01:59Yeah, ran him out.
02:00His fault.
02:00And what did he do with that team that, when he had them, when he had Fox, and, you know, he had Monk, and he had Sabonis, and they were allegedly a really good team, and they never were.
02:15They never were when he was the coach.
02:18They just were never that good at all.
02:21Now, he's going to replace a guy that won 55% of his games and took the team to the Eastern Conference Finals and lost in six games, and they fired him.
02:36Obviously, something Dolan and Tibbs didn't get along, or, you know, Leon Rose didn't get along.
02:45I don't know.
02:46Wasn't that his boy?
02:47Wasn't that Leon Rose's boy?
02:49Not anymore.
02:49There is no way you can tell me, ever, that this is a step in the right direction, that this is the right move, that they did the right thing.
03:01I'll never agree that they had the coach, and they are going, I think, backwards by hiring Mike Brown.
03:12Mike Brown has already coached in the league and done nothing.
03:16What has he done?
03:17He's never won like Tibbs has won, and I'll give you this.
03:22Neither one of them have a ring, but, you know, I do not believe this is, you know, going to help the Knicks in any capacity.
03:30You know what they need?
03:31They need to have him stand there and just don't listen to him.
03:34That's what they need to do.
03:36Don't listen to him because he, I don't think he's that great of a coach.
