Palace shrugs off Justice chief's intention to apply as Ombudsman

Malacañang says on July 1, 2025 that no changes have been made yet in President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s Cabinet after Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla expressed his intention to apply for the position of Ombudsman. Palace Press Officer Claire Castro told a press conference to 'just wait' but stressed that the Department of Justice was not vacant 'as of now.'
