Raheem Mostert is using his Twitter fingers when weighing in on the Dolphins current trades. He sends a shot at the Dolphins for continuing to "Treat Pro-Bowlers like Sh*t"
Transcript
00:00Miami Dolphins they have traded Jalen Ramsey and Jonu Smith to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange
00:09for former Miami Dolphins safety former first round pick Minka Fitzpatrick there's also a swap
00:18of draft picks as uh the Dolphins and Steelers uh trade some picks the Dolphins of course uh the
00:28Dolphins are also apparently uh in conversations according to Tom Pellicero the Dolphins are now
00:35in conversations with multiple teams about acquiring a tight end after sending Jonu Smith
00:42so there you go yeah they are going to try and fill the void Leroy they are not leaving it in
00:51the hands of Tanner Conner at least for now all right where is Elijah Arroyo should have drafted him
00:58ah see ya no way they're giving him up Raheem Mostert he has tweeted out
01:10hmm it's spicy oh Raheem Mostert tweets out hot take be a pro bowler on the Dolphins
01:24and get treated like bleep happy for my guys though go ball out
01:31what what wow he's right though that's spicy now I would say this is he right though and this is
01:45this is the honest truth and this is not a knock on Raheem Mostert Raheem Mostert was more
01:54of a benefactor of the circumstances than Jonu Smith so for him to say that he has every right to
02:05but I just have questions right I have questions because unlike any other position
02:14um sometimes the system you in matters especially I mean for all the others a wide receiver
02:25tight end like somebody pointed out in the chat that Aaron Rodgers doesn't really throw to the tight
02:34ends so to have Jonu Smith does what
02:36right um but the thing that I would say about what he said was is that you have been hurt and
02:51banged up most of your career and you come down here and finally get a whole season
02:57right and made he made a pro bowl they didn't want to give you a whole bunch of money
03:06because you're over 30 and that's what you come with right like circumstances matter the situation
03:15in which you came into based on the situation that you left right matters so if you don't have that
03:22context and what you did before you got here how can you say you got treated like crap if Mike McDaniel
03:31wouldn't have brought him in where would he ended up I don't know right I don't know he wasn't
03:36a hot commodity at the time there's a tweet for everybody uh one of Raheem Mostert chiming in
03:44cats fans still though love the cats I just don't like because guess what the one thing I will say
03:52you've never heard me say nothing bad about Baltimore Ravens or the Cleveland Browns never
03:59like I may have said oh okay you made the wrong move and I'll show you right but as far as why
04:09they did it or how they have that right
04:12so when you're over 30 as a running back and the team you play for keep drafting young running backs
04:23and you making seven eight million dollars what the hell you think is going to happen
04:29so yeah all right so you're telling Raheem Mostert just put the thumbs away I would just say like
04:38sometimes we have to be aware of our own situations before we start commenting on other situations
04:45he is lashing out he is like like I don't understand like he benefited so much from being here
04:54also you broke down at the end like right old you break down at the end what do you expect
05:01right but that's that's my thing how look at the situation right look at the situation before you make
05:10comments like that and go probably shouldn't say nothing because you know well I mean Devon HM
05:17that's another reason obviously the success of him was it was easier to part ways with Mostert
05:22yeah but that's a but you but you knew that was coming that was a plan right you see oh Devon HM
05:28there's no need to pay him that which is I get that but I guess the Dolphins and this is going to go
05:33to whatever it's going to depend on what the follow-up move is to John there because I get the
05:37I get that John it was important last year but if the Dolphins can go get somebody for a John
05:43new price and make him do the things that he did I don't know who that is and what I would I
05:48the only thing the only thing I have to say about that is you make it sound like there's a lot of
05:56those guys I'm not making it sound like it but it is but it but that's that's the plan like that's
06:01the game of it right you know that and look Leroy they've been it's been very obvious by their moves
06:08like they've spent willy-nilly the last two years this has definitely been an offseason that's been
06:13on a budget this has not been an offseason where the Dolphins are are spending big dough because
06:19they already did and it didn't pay off for them here's what I would also say about that
06:23up to this point there hasn't been a whole lot out there so while you're talking about spending money
06:29oh they have I mean they they traded for Tyreek Hill they gave him an extension they traded for Jalen
06:34Ramsey no I'm talking about this offseason right now like who's been out there that they could have
06:39got the the the like if you look at the offensive line like you look at the Bears the Patriots these
06:45are teams that have spent big money on offensive line the Dolphins traded for a guy or the Dolphins
06:49signed a guy with a torn Achilles yeah yep somebody um who is let me see uh said um and I want to say
06:59this oh he said stop stop the cap fence has zero run game before Mike Mostert and Jeff Wilson got here
07:06yes agreed okay and part of that was the the new offense and how they did things okay then it got a chance
07:19right then Mostert got hurt then Wilson got hurt like I mean he also had a bat like he I know
07:29maybe he was banged up or something with his chest but like he fumbled the ball a lot last year like
07:33he had like we let's not let's not overlook that right so um what I would say about that is
07:43yes all the things that Easton says is accurate about the run game changer but keep in mind it was a new
07:52offense nobody was acclimated to it they all ran that outside zone right everybody
07:59had a great time until they didn't and then they start struggling running the ball most we couldn't
08:06hang on to the football A-Chan came in and just injected a whole new life to that offense and now
08:13I think internally they have to change how they run the football and maybe that's not conducive to
08:21what they were paying Mostert and that's why you see all the signings with the running backs
08:27bigger stronger tougher guys right so yeah that happens that's called evolving so you keep or get
08:36rid of guys sometimes based on that I realized that that happened to me in Baltimore I wasn't mad
08:43I was mad because the guy they brought in I knew wasn't better than me sounds like you're a little
08:52mad no I'm not mad that they made a decision that didn't bother me I never I never once the only
09:01reason the only reason I know who Bam Morris is is because you were mad that's true well no no no no
09:06no you called you called him bum Morris I'm just kidding but but I'm just saying I understood what they
09:15were doing right but at the same time all I can do is is go out there and play better than the guy
09:26they replaced me with and I did and I can live with that I can always say to this day haha you made a mistake
09:33I didn't even think about that but I don't know that but I don't know that much can just go out there
09:45and I like to just go out there and you can just see how there's all these guys working out and say
09:51that's the most amazing thing to do is really cool because everything is very cool is that that's not
