00:39The Dolphins and cornerback Jalen Ramsey are mutually set to explore trade options,
00:44and it wouldn't be a surprise if he played elsewhere this upcoming season,
00:48according to NFL Network insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pellicero.

00:54So, everybody's looking at the wrong thing here.
01:05The Dolphins are in a position where they've paid two guys a lot of money,
01:11and if you want to get rid of them, you're getting pennies on the dollar
01:17because they're both older.
01:20One comes with baggage, and one is over 30.

01:27But Jalen Ramsey probably got like four years left in him, right?

01:46of those two guys, you actually are in the driver's seat because of said reasons,

02:07You're not going to really get anything for them of substance.

02:29Ramsey's currently due $25.1 million, fully guaranteed in 2025.
02:33He's already gotten his roster bonus, so the new team would pick up $21.1 million
02:37this year to pay him.
02:40He doesn't have any guaranteed money after this year.
02:43He just got the new deal last year, which was a three-year extension,
02:47which kind of makes you feel like he probably went back to him again
02:49and be like, more guaranteed money for next year?

04:32I will say this, is that I think the league itself has built this
04:40based on the fact that what do we get excited for when the season's over with?

04:49Who's going to be a June 1st cut?
04:50Who's going to give money back?
04:53It's not ever, hey, we got this guy in the contract for two more years.

04:59I know it's guaranteed, but you don't think like this.

05:08and I think there's some that needs to be fixed.

06:58This is the only team that I know that built from outside in, in the end, was average at best.
