00:00Bristol City's new goalkeeper Joe Lumley has said that he wants to experience playing in the Premier League with the Robins
00:06following his signing to the Ashtongate Club this summer.
00:11I wouldn't know really because I've never played out on pitch, but it's what I've grown up doing since I was 10 years old
00:19in the garden with my brother, booting balls at each other.
00:22And yeah, from when I was that age, I was hoping to become a professional and I'm here now.
00:31My aim is to play in the Premier League again and get more appearances in the Premier League and I'm sure I can do that here.
00:36You mentioned the training grounds. What are your impressions of the Robins High Performance Centre?
00:40Incredible. One of the best I've been at, to be honest. I had a little tour just now.
00:44It's got everything you need to progress as an athlete really.
00:48So yeah, looking forward to coming here every single day.
00:51Obviously a new head coach as well, but you've had a tour from Pat Mountain.
00:55How much are you looking forward to working with him?
00:57Yeah, I've heard a lot about Pat throughout my career and only good things.
01:01And yeah, we just had a tour around the building together and had a good chat.
01:06And Bristol Rovers new signing, Macaulay Southam-Hales, has said that he cannot wait to get going at the club
01:13as they look to secure a promotion back to League One following their relegation to League Two at the end of last season.
01:21Just can't wait to get going and really show myself and show what I'm about to the club.
01:26What made you want to join Bristol Rovers?
01:29As soon as I had the interest, I obviously had some links to Stockport with some of the staff up there who was here.
01:35They spoke highly about it straight away and I really couldn't wait to get going and get down here.
01:39Met the gaffer and took to him by stone really and yeah, I can't wait to get going.
01:43You talked about the gaffer there. What were those conversations with Daryl like?
01:47Yeah, really good. Really, I didn't see the project going on beyond the scenes and where the club wants to go
01:52and the ambition and training facilities and just, as you said, the gaffer as a man, a great guy
01:58and obviously Ricky as well the same.
02:00You've been at Stockport for quite a few seasons. How important was it that your next step was the right one?
02:06Yeah, massive. Obviously, I've five seasons at Stockport with success so if I can bring that here
02:11that would be amazing and good for the fans as well.
