00:00How many of us in this room will still be a bit of a young person today?
00:04So why am I saying this? We need capacity building.
00:08We need capacity building.
00:10I did represent my research recruitment efforts.
00:15I highlighted a significant gap in the skill set in the university.
00:20So we need to be deliberate about training people.
00:24Many graduates are there today.
00:25They come out of the university and the labor market.
00:28No job. Everybody wants the experience first.
00:31Who will give them the experience? Nobody.
00:34If you look at the diverse success by the IOCs, they were successfully delivered.
00:39That's why we go to the big independence and taking up those assets.
00:44But when they started, they had first.
00:46They took graduates. They trained them.
00:48We gave them comprehensive training before putting them into the industry.
00:52And that was what gave us the experience.
00:56So we need to start with that.
00:58I know many, when some independents are training, they have graduate training programs.
01:03And now they, an association I've come to, we have training programs.
01:08But it's not sufficient.
01:09Governments need to get coming now.
01:11If we need to tweak the curriculum from the university level
01:15and start giving them some practical experience of what the industry needs.
01:20And when they get in, they get in.
01:22Then we have people to take over from us.
01:25So we need to start working on a succession plan.
01:28That is what we need for us.
01:29Have that achieved that energy security we are talking about.
01:34Another thing is that we nuclear, what we are amsad is we want to develop cash flow, cash flow, cash flow.
01:42The upside is we are not looking at it.
01:44We are depleting the existing results.
01:46How can we replace it?
01:48If we don't think anything regarding exploration, then the oil we are talking about will just be in the grammar.
01:54And we will need to have solutions.
01:56So how can we have energy security we want to explore?
01:59So as we are depleting the existing ones, we are depleting the results.
02:03Community also, we need to ensure we have good relationship with the community.
02:08Because we may have a prolific assets.
02:10It is prolific on paper.
02:12But if you are unable to go into the field to work, then it could be, you know, that means you are just having your results on paper.
02:20You are not bringing the world to something.
02:22I know the PIA has tackled, you know, the community issues through the HCPT, but some communities are not, are not accepting it.
02:34Some still believe in the GMOU, and I will require the regulators to please help move into this.
02:41If they have a session with the community and educate them, let me come directly from them.
02:46So that will help the operators go in and reach.
02:50I wouldn't want to take too much of that time, but those are so key areas.
02:54We need to keep things to ensure that our dream, our salvation, is any discipline.
